  1. Lads, I'm over for the weekend this weekend... Need a good recommendation for a good curry/balti house that is both cheap and tasty and preferably wont leave me stuck to the jacks with a hot ring for the weekend... Stuck this in the general chat thread but it got swamped with other meaningless stuff! :D Appreciate the help....

Heard about Adil's Balti house but not too sure so if you locals could pass on your local knowledge, i would be most obliged....

  2. I'm over for this one and am already having sleepless nights about what might happen.

The problem with the defense worries me alot. Dickie Dunne has been vital to our cause.

I think this will be a high scoring game. I just hope our team has been somewhat galvanised by the events of last Wednesday in a strange kind of way. We really need to just get to the Summer to try and rebuild.

  3. Being the ultimate cynic you could say that Randy wants them to go out on loan to get away from Ged seeing as he will be getting rid of him in the Summer and doesn't want them to get too disheartened by sitting on the bench for the rest of the season....

  4. Calling the gardai for a bit of screaming and door banging would be a little excessive, wouldn't it?

Where you living Yil? In Dublin? I'll call round for a bit of entertainment!!! :D

An even better option than the police. I'll call Lombardo over to give them a talking to. Unfortunately the guy has left now though and the shouting has stopped, but I'm expecting he'll be back after a skinful of pints.

I'm not far from Kevin St Garda Station. If it all kicks off, do you reckon you'd be able to make it here faster than them?

Went offline last night... Hope I didn't miss anything. Am only a 15 minute drive from there so yeah probably! Pity the fool!!! :D

  6. I think I'm going through one of those phases when I'm apathetic towards football again. We just lost 3-0 and I barely flinched.

Think after last night that can be renamed as Houllieritis!! :)

  7. I will still support him but that was a mistake. Similiar to what MON did back in Moscow.

I said before the game that I didn't really expect to come out with a win tonight, but to just give in before the game started was poor.

Safety in the league is now without doubt the priority now and I just hope that Gerard has plans to seriously climb the table now after that mess.

  8. The only worry is that Sinn Fein are getting a sizeable proportion of the young vote. This is concerning to me as when these people are growing up, their kids will vote for the Sinners and it will carry on like that. In a way, Ireland needs a new Fianna Fail to come up and stop these criminals from getting into government and to capture any of that republican vote that remains. I am in no way a Fianna Fail supporter, but I do think they have a large role to play in stopping the Shinners from capturing more of that young vote. They have gotten rid of a lot of the older TD’s and they need these now to be replaced by younger more enthusiastic deputies.
