I wouldn't take a draw either. We're Aston Villa, we shouldn't be scared of anyone and settle for a point. Obviously I don't want a loss but a win  would be massive. 

They play tonight against Liverpool. Hopefully it goes to extra time then Liverpool put 3 past them before it gets to penalties cause that gives them too much belief. 

We'll be 'fresher', they'll be mourning their cup lost against a PL team. Their home form is terrible. 

Lets take the game to them!

Another doubt this weekend. Took a knock to his ankle. 

He's a doubt for this weekend. Had Wednesday off training with a knock.

Looked on the Cardiff forum. Even their optimistic poster are hoping for a draw. 

Glad we've had a good 8 days rest and training after last weeks hectic week with international duty and playing on a Friday night. 

Should think the lads are dying for this game too!

Definitely agree I would love to get 9 points out of the next 3 games. 7 minimum. We need to be start taking 3 points off teams above us (Leeds).

We're going to struggle in Jan without 3 of our best attackers, unless Ross can get some form, otherwise I can't see where our goals will come from.

I'm confused. Grealish was recovering from a mid week illness and Ayew picked up a knock on international duty. The way we set up was to counter and press high up the pitch so Gestede would be even more useless. 

Knockeart is one of the best wingers in this league. He's Brightons best player from what I've heard and seen. Amavi kept him in his pocket for large parts of the game. Very impressed. Brighton wasn't a team that our full backs should be overlapping against. Weird seeing tactics in place. 

I'd get bacuna back in there even if he's better in midfield. Hutton is just shite with the ball. Can't pass, dribble, cross. 

One thing that stood out for me today is that he wasn't scared to shoot! That's been lacking from his game. Needs to play central.

Shown he's a cut above the rest with his cameo appearance.

Shows how out of shape he was / shows how hard he's training? 

System was working until the 1 minute extra time. Kodija looks tired. Which is worrying cause I'd want to put ayew on for gabby and move kodija to the centre.
