I saw a list of players that they're losing in the summer, players out of contract, youngsters like Hall and Bellingham leaving, loanees returning to parent club, and so on, it was pretty much most of their squad, so can understand them trying to keep Deeney, apparently money wise he's on a surprisingly very small contract which he was able to accept because Watford gave him a very big pay-off when he left them, if he's willing to accept a similar deal to stay then probably makes sense from their point of view and probably from his, might as well stay at his own club as unlikely to get much else in the way of offers.
Sounds like Troy is going to be a very busy man

I didn't have Henley-in-Arden down as a blose stronghold.

Are we aware of the location of his favourite watering holes?
This good be a wild guess, but I reckon he doesn't drink. Which is no help at all
really.

Has he actually said he’s one of us. I know he said he wanted to fight at Villa Park because he’s a local Erdington lad, but not sure if he’s a fully fledged villan
Going by your usual logic, he doesn't work at JLR, therefore he's not a nose.

Its embarrassing to name the bridge after him
It should be Matthew Boulton. Birmingham born industrialist, with strong links to rail. Perfect.
Or Alison Hammond off the telly, who's probably been on a train before, maybe.

Craig Gardner is Technical Director. He is probably the brains behind any scam
Part of his role is to periodically lick the 9V batteries in the smoke alarms at Waste Hills. He obviously hasn't been doing his job properly.
Well done

Yes your right no one would care but lets not forget they literally are doing so much for the community there as well. They are there to make money like near enough all owners are.
But the story of it is great. If you haven't watched the show id watch it because its not just two people who buying club plumping money in. They genuinely look like they have fallen in love with the game. Your seeing more celebs come over and watch games (ferrell, hanks for example)
Its good to see
The series is definitely worth a watch.

Expecting a lot of calling in sick at JLR Monday?
Mate.
Don't worry, there are enough DVBs there to cover the gaps.

I'd say a peaceful, smug Monday morning at work now.

More demotic than Wolstenholme, less hysterical than Coleman and less crassly opinionated than the present lot.
His iconic sheepskin should remind us that snow was not considered an excuse to cancel the third round of the FA Cup, or demand an enquiry if there was ice on the pitch.
He will forever stand as a reminder of a time when football fans didn't need to be told what was happening on the pitch by a multitude of hangers-on.
He was knowledgeable without being opinionated and also very likeable.
Now at rest in the great gantry in the sky.
RIP!
I agree with all of that, well said.
For me, the GOAT, a master of his craft.
RIP Motty

So in the last day I've read the folllowing arguments from the lovely space that is the bluemoon forum.
- This is a big conspiracy like the one that took down Trump and Boris, the big global pharma vaccine producing elites hate City and so wanted to take them apart.
- Everyone cheats, Liverpool and Manchester United have done exactly what we have done since forever.
- George Soros is the reason why it's all gone tits up, if he hadn't tipped off the PL none of this would have happened.
- Q has foreseen this event and tried to warn us.
- Everyone is jealous at City's titles - even though they've apparently been won illegally.
- We should have stayed in the Superleague, the other big clubs are just doing this so we don't get in.
- We'll kick the teeth of anyone hinting at our cheating in, make the atmosphere so bad that no one wants to charge us.
Good bunch of people. Top notch.
Rearrange this popular phrase.
Tools in the box not the sharpest.

Panic in the blue half of Manchester
Panic in the empty seats in the Bell End
I wonder to myself
Could the Premiership ever be the same again?
The League divisions that you slip down
I wonder to myself
Hopes may rise in the Grass roots
But, honey pie, you're not safe here
So you run down to the safety of the gulf state
But there's panic in the stands of the Etihad
Abu Dhabi, Blue Moon, Dubai
I wonder to myself
Burn down the Emptihad
Hang the crooked regime
The bloated transfers that they constantly pay
It says nothing to me about a fair game
Hang the blessed first team
The illegal payments they constantly pay
The League divisions that you slip down
Provincial teams you jog 'round
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regime, hang the regime
Hang the regime, hang the regimeBravo, sir/madam/whatever.
Gotta be careful these days

The club not cooperating with investigation into the past 5 seasons is a bit concerning to be honest.
The only logical reason to cooperate with investigations into 2008-2017 (the period covered by the hack) and not cooperate over 2018-2023 is that the punishment and reputational damage for obstructing the investigation is better than what would be revealed if you did fully cooperate.Above from a City fan, interesting comment
In rugby union, Saracens , who breached the salary cap, were told to open their books or face relegation. They chose the latter, said it all really.
