I don’t like it at all and prefer the staff being paid a decent wage, and in a fairly well regulated labour market like Norway I don’t think it’s necessary. But I usually end up tipping anyway.
I try not to go above rounding up to the next tenner in restaurants or the next full pound for drinks, though.

Some studies have suggested just exercising one side of the body will still benefit the unused side. Could you jump on machines and only use your good hand?
Absolutely. I’ll find some sort of alternative, I’m sure. I’m just a little frustrated at the stop-start nature of my gym routine over the past few months.

Fractured my finger playing basketball a few weeks ago and had some back issues before that. Haven’t been in any kind of routine since that. Back at it today and it feels brutal.
Turns out the fractured finger needed surgery. Had the op yesterday and likely won’t be allowed any kind of lifting or a decent workout for a couple of months still. Going to have to do some heavy duty work in April and May now.

Dougie’s pass to Ollie was enough to make my night, but to walk away with 5-0 away from home is obviously a nice bonus. I guess you call that a response.

How's it going in Norway, @El Zen?
Looks a bit windy.
Not too bad round me, but roofs are flying off houses elsewhere.

Jumping from a wall, actually.

So, today I came very close to having a live moose land on the roof of my moving car in the middle of Oslo.

I hope so, they are just not visible right now.
They seem to be fairly visible where it actually counts, though.

I would guess there is a very small percentage that would weigh up whether to vote for Trump or Biden, it's one or the other or don't vote.
They are so diametrically opposed, you could not contemplate one or the other.
Getting people out to vote is what matters. The Trump voters are energized and engaged, they will be voting.
But so will everyone who can’t stand the man, and everyone enraged by the Dobbs verdict in particular, and I predict there are more of them.
-
Dem turnout has been pretty decent in midterms since Dobbs, hasn’t it? I think it’s likely Trump will arguably rally more Dems than any of their own could possible do, and Biden is bland enough not to scare any Dems from voting.
I’d predict Biden to win it again against Trump, but I learned not to make predictions about American politics in 2016.

Nasty, horrible, thuggish team. Bet Dyche loved that.

Been that way forever, too. Worst crowd in the league.

They've just shown the lines. He was offside, as it was clear from the eye test. I can't understand why people are thinking it was a ridiculous decision.
I think the decision was correct, I just think it’s a joke it took so long and that VAR is sucking all the joy out of football.

Without the lines, I can’t say for sure if Bailey was off or not. Looked like an obvious foul by Lenglet, but they’ve called it for offside, which should never take three minutes to check. Terrible, terrible system. Scrap VAR asap.

An old classmate of mine did visual effects on this and it seems he’s gone and won himself an Emmy.
I mean, in terms of professional recognition, it’s not quite your teacher of the year runner up for 2015 at a Greater Oslo area middle school level, but it’s something.

The swing states wouldn’t do this as It’d cause so much uproar that they’d be risking civil unrest. It’s a relatively safe thing to do in Maine but if they tried in Ohio or something it would undoubtedly lead to deaths.
It would be much easier if the republicans could just pick someone who wasn’t openly a fascist.
That doesn’t sound very easy at all, considering they have to pick from a field of, y’know, Republicans.

Complete embarassment. We just completely stopped playing at 0-2 and let them do what they wanted. That’s when you leave a mark on someone and send a message.
This was the Villa I know. Need to turn it around again asap if we want top 4.

Yeah, somebody needs to explain that one to me. Looks like they drew Moreno’s line from his fingertips.
