He probably wont even be nominated but he really should be a leading contender for Player of the Season
With goals and assists combined he's on 29, closest to him is Haaland on 26.

New contract please.

What are the Boro fans saying? There was a bit of bemusement when we signed him.
He's certainly surpassing my expectations.

I'd imagine if we had a full compliment, he wouldn't be getting the game time, much like Pau. As it is, both have been thrown in and are shining. Really pleased for Morgan, he'll learn so much so quickly.
Huh? Pau is elite.

Are the commentators reluctant to praise us? Or am I very sensitive?

Why even stop the play for a ball to the face? That’s not a head injury. And then give the ball to arsenal when we were in possession on the edge of the box, what the actual ****?
The face is on the head.

Good half of football for the neutral.

Paul Merson saying he has a feeling that we’d prefer Europa conference league trophy over CL football.
Ehhh…? Ideally we want both, but if I had to choose one, knowing what it would do for the club, I know which I’m going for
Paul Merson shouldn't be out unsupervised.

I saw Isak say post-match that Howe had tweaked thing s so they went man to man out of possession to stifle Spurs's pace. I wonder if we'll do similar at the Emirates?
I'm going out on a limb to say, No, we won't.

Getting very hairy. What the world doesn't need...

Sheesh. Bournemouth are so incredibly good on the ball. They’re playing like Barcelona in their prime — without the finishing.
Tis only Bournemouth.

Does anyone have any experience of owning or using any Festool tools? I’m not an expert DIYer, but I do like to have a go at some things around the house before I mess it up and have to call in a professional. However, I need a new drill. I have been watching numerous YouTube videos about drills and other things, and I really really like the look of those by Festool. However, they are expensive… is it worth it just to ‘have it’ or should I just be getting one of the other decent brands, such as Dewalt or Milwaukee? One of the things that attracts me to Festool is the Systainers and the numerous attachments you can get using the centrotec system.
Why not get a Black and Decker or similar? Sounds like you won't get much use out of it. And I'm pretty sure you just made up that last sentence.

He's doing 2 jobs on the pitch, we have no defensive midfielder so he's pitching in with that plus trying to be creative, he's overworked.

Oh yeah 100%. We never really had a squad to compete for top 4 and win a European cup when everyone was fit. The fact we are still doing it with so many key players out and others having to play every minute is amazing.
It’s why I said I don’t think we will see many good performances from now until the end of the season. It’s all about grinding results out now.
If we had Buendia, Ramsay, Kamara and Mings for most of the season things would be quite different. With everyone fit, it's a strong squad. From now until the end of the season is going to be a test of endurance.

Liverpool 2 down.

That's what I thought and why I asked if he did something? Maybe a knock or a disagreement with Unai? There's no real explanation he was rested at the weekend and not playing tonight, I'm a little confused. At least we have him as an option to change the game.
Is it confusing? He hasn't been a part of our best 11 for most of the season, great option to bring on.

Best one I had was during the first lockdown, when I was doing the rounds of all the delivery options. Asda were due at 10pm. At 1030pm it was marked as delivered. I thought maybe the driver was outside unloading, but no. Nowhere to be seen. Tried to call to find out what was going on, but the helpline was closed. Multiple calls to their outsourced help centre over the next 36 hours where they insisted it had been delivered. 2 days later I leave the flat for the first time to find it had been left on my doorstep. Groceries. For 2 days. Delivery driver hadn't even knocked. Multiple long calls back and forth to their contact centre resulted in them doubling down to say it had been delivered and they wouldn't talk to me any more. I got in touch via Twitter, which is run from the UK head office. 10 mins later I had a full refund and apology.
Absolute wankspanners.
I think I would have opened the door...

Race for Champions League - 2023/2024

Football doesn't really work like that. However, with 6 games to go, we are not technically out of the race for the title. Which is brilliant and bizarre!
