QPR are bottom of the league and the lowest scorers in the league.
They were lucky to stop up last season. God knows why anyone would say that a draw against this lot would be good.
FFS nothing short of a win at home to this shower of shit is acceptable.
We are playing bottom club QPR people not top club Man United!
They are bottom yes but would probably be mid table with Redknapp and their current squad from the start.

I am looking forward to seeing a midfield trio of Sylla , Delph and Westwood. I think they could provide a good balance.
Delph and Sylla? No thanks!
How about Sylla, Bannan and Westwood.
Played in League wins:
Westwood 6
Bannan 5
Delph 2
Thanks for including the number of appearances and league position of the opponents faced to provide relative merit of your stats.

Should have made it much more comfotable but held out for a vital win. Sylla looked like the player we hoped he might be. Very comfortable and read the game well in tackles and interceptions without commiting many fouls. Guzan as ever bossed it and Benteke had one of his on days which meant he was unplayable. Not sold on Bannan, would prefer Delph to come back in for him.
Surprised to see the defence getting so criticised when in the end we only conceded a freak own goal.

Lowton has made the most combined tackles and interceptions of any Premier League defender (and therefore player I would assume) this season.
-
I just don't know why he didn't push the ball away with his arm or grab it when he slipped. The ref was close to giving a free kick anyway that he probably would have done if Clark had stopped play (I know it wasn't a foul by the way, but it could have easily been made to look that way). At worst he would have got a yellow for the handball.
-
Is Benteke suspended aswell as Delph
Why not read a few posts on this very page.
He's not suspended though is he? I think it's 5 yellows for a 1 game ban until half way through the season, then you need to reach 10 to get a 2 game ban like Delph.

QPR beating Soton was probably the best result for that game, since we really need to beat QPR at home and put +3 points over them, it really doesn't matter that they gained 3 on us this weekend. If we draw or, worse yet, lose to QPR then we can pretty much forget about catching up to Wigan and Soton anyway, let alone QPR catching us.

Nope, we play Olympiakos

Yeah does anyone have any suggestions for the best 3.5*/4*/4.5* teams?
I was liking Udinese for 4* but I seem to have peaked with them. Play 3-5-1-1 with 2 good quick forwards, Muriel and Di Natale.
-
Got a good feeling. League cup repeat.
Can't see there being extra time myself.
-
I'm just concentrating on Seasons now, stuck trying to win Division 1 with Udinese.

Don't rate him, no better than Delfouneso for me
If there was ever such a thing as a wrong opinion, that is it.

what's the weather going to be like for this one?

Just changed my FUT formation to the dirty 5-2-2-1. Playing counter attack and defensive. Winning way more than I'm losing.
Gone for a BPL side with Lloris, Maicon, Cole, IF Koscielny, Kompany, Kaboul, Touré, Gerrard, Nani, Agüero and then I'm struggling for my RF so have Hulk in there. Had Walcott but I wasn't getting much out of him. Dunno who else from the Prem could do a job for me there.
I won Division 1 finally with my Bundesliga team (mainly Dortmund) playing that formation.
-
We tried that before. It was horrible.

I have been having a look at our remaining games.
Trying to be objective and not letting my heart rule my head, I have come up with the following possible results:
Everton - draw
West Ham - Villa win
Arsenal - Villa loss
Man City - Villa loss
Reading - Villa win
QPR - Villa win
Liverpool - draw
Stoke - Villa loss
Fulham - Villa win
Man Utd - Villa loss
Sunderland - draw
Norwich - Villa loss
Chelsea - Villa loss
Wigan - Villa loss
This would leave us finishing our league campaign on 35 points.
Is that enough?
So far so good with this prediction.

Anyone know if we have still got a place next yr? Or is now based on performance in new youth leagu? (which I believe we only got into second group and didn't qualify into elite)
I had the impression team we're invited to come more than a qualification process, but that might change with the growth of the competition.
-
Bale straight swap?
-
Yep Gabby in for Bowery, rest unchanged.
I have confidence that we won't play a bizarre system and therefore that we won't get rolled over. I'm confident that we'll give it a go and if things go our way we could get a point or even all 3, but if not that we'll go again.
-
Arsenal are playing next Tuesday and three weeks after that in the CL. They do however have 2 games between now and when we play them, whilst we have 2 weeks to prepare.
-
I wasn't, it's just that if we'd conceded that goal we'd be going crazy about the wall not doing it's job. Just an observation.
-
Jussi didn't even try and dive for it, the wall didn't jump, it ducked if anything. But it was a great kick on target. Deserved his goal.
-
Very dodgy goals, especially in the wake of certain reports that came out this week...

We may play that way (the away way) as they need a win more than us, they will have to come at us. Could work in our favour.
