Diaby has been fairly anonymous… maybe swap for Big Jhon at half time if we are still a goal behind?
Or Zaniolo if fit

I know, always the same people too, how many times does this team need to prove people wrong?

We haven't been good enough
Sloppy on the ball, got barely anything going forwards, and too easy for them to work the ball around our box,
Lenglet charging out trying to win a ball he was never going to get and leaving space behind
What, we've played some great football?! They're obviously full of it now they've scored but we looked great till then. We need to regroup and get Rogers on the ball again a bit more. Lots of time left, they are still committing men forward so we'll get chances.

Decent line up, Zaniolo on the bench could play a part. Hope the crowd are up for this coz over there will be mental.

Are they a better team than Lille?
Along with Lille and Fiorentina I'd say the strongest sides in it after the groups, we'll have to beat all three to win it. One down, two to go.

Robin Olsen to get 12 of them.

Yeah, this lot are decent by all accounts and will really want to play a final in Athens. The atmosphere at their place will be fierce to say the least, we're going to need at least a couple of goals advantage to take there and even then we'll probably need to score to get through. Very tough if you ask me, not beyond us by any means but we're going to have to be on it.

There’s a lesson to us all in this thread.
There's some parallels with how Zaniolo gets treated.

Win this and we're almost there.

Expect us to win tonight. Need a two goal lead minimum though.
Yeah would have preferred away leg first, we need to make the most of home advantage and turn the second leg into a dead game if poss. If they score first tonight it's going to be a mental game...

Ok, I could probably put in a decent 30-45 second performance. Just ask the wife.

What's the injury/suspension situation like for this one then?

he thought popped in my head yesterday that neither us or spurs could get to 70 points, we both stumble at the finish line and us already having those points on the board is massive
Could happen, if spurs lose against Chelsea and Liverpool then they might look at the table and think it's beyond them. Who knows, they're capable of winning both which would mean they'd be very much in it and we'd need to find some sort of heroics in the last games ourselves even with all the injuries and the ECL games...
Personally though I think we need 4 points from our last 3 games, beat Brighton and we're almost home.- 1

The ball to Rogers for his goal was pure unadulterated filth

Calling it here first, Spurs will beat Man City on the final day and this will hand Arsenal the title (Spurs record against City is excellent), they will also win either chelsea or arsenal game, they will too beat Sheff Utd and draw against Burnley, thats 10 pts secured, we will only need to win 2 more matches and find ourselves on 72 points and that i feel will ultimately be enough, 4 points is risky imo as they could also beat burnley too.
We all seem to be underestimating spurs based on fixtures but anything can happen in any of those games for example look at what we did at Arsenal, guys it is far from over and we cant get complacent at this stage we have to be weary and realistic and just try to win every match.
UTV!!
If you have them beating City and Arsenal, what do you see in this Burnley team that makes you think Spurs would only draw against them?!

This. But we must not be complacent: all is not done until the fat lady has sung.
Let's just beat Chelsea, then there's so much pressure on the Tottingham in the norf landan derby. Lose that and stay 9 points adrift with 5 games to play and having City in the next game might just be a bit much for them.
Mind you, even if we lose to Chelsea if Arsenal give them a good shoeing following by the same against City they'd have to make up 6 points in 4 games. Two of which would be another london derby against Chelsea and a tough game against Liverpool.

The people on the Spurs forum Cock Gobbler or whatever it's called seem to be resigned to 5th place.
Are you sure you were on the right site? If there were pictures of someone being resigned to taking it in 5 places, maybe you weren't...

Incredible player. One of the best I've seen in a Villa shirt and he's getting better. MOTM for me today.

5 points from the next 4 games should be enough. That would put us on 71 points. If we manage even 1.5 pts a game though that would be 6 points and finishing on 72.
