Neville just said this squad really shouldn't be in CL, I think he means that Unai is a real difference maker. I agree with that. We are better than our players are. And I don't think it's a knock on our players either. I think they'd agree.

Weird, I'm not nervous at all. I've probably given up and surrendered before the game. Actually, I know I have. Not a good fan, but it is what it is. We're toast.

Assuming we can't take anything out of Crystal Palace seems a strange assumption. Assuming Spurs will automatically beat Sheffield is a much less strange assumption, but not guaranteed.

My hope, and belief, lies purely on City beating Spurs.

Having watched Chelsea many times this season, I've seen many good things. They'll be a force next season. The biggest threat to our top4 position.

So, the season defining game is on our doorstep.

Tomorrow evening we'll know if we play CL or EL next season.

With their speed and our fatigue level ... I give us close to zero percent chance of winning. We allow goals for fun, so a 0-5 is not out of question at all.

I agree. They will be top 4. This year is the year to get CL. Will be more difficult next year.

A true Villa fan doesn't think we deserve CL, and is a little depressed if we get in. CL is clearly not what it used to be any more.

Could we forfeit the last two of our games and take the 0-3 from both?

That way we could rest our players for next season.

Next year, with Mings and Pau our CBs, our defense should be much better organized and our woeful set piece defending improved.
