You have to remember though they signed a shed load of players and spent stupid money like the year we went down. This approach does not work. Even wolves did not sign that many players and look at them. The manager I think is really key. The biggest mistake Fulham made was bringing raneri. That was always going to be a disaster.

That's true but some of those signings did seem smart. I think promoted teams should only look to improve on maybe 2-3 starters from the team that took them up.

Look at our current team, I'd want a new right wing, left back, and probably a DM.

Changing out the likes of El Ghazi, Hourihane, a keeper, defender, etc would ruin the chemistry.

  2. I do worry because on paper Fulham's squad was pretty solid.

Mitrovic, Sessegnon, Cairney, Ream, and Bryan were all good championship players.

They had some decent signings too. Seri was a really big one, Schurlle, and Anguissa were also good pick ups.

Just makes me nervous. Fulham's team that went up reminds me of our current team.

  3. I've nearly beaten it now.

Game is a massive challenge with a few bosses feeling cheaply difficult, but most feel fun and give me a sense of accomplishment. Combat is fun, and the levels are great.

Main complaint is they made a lot of things too cryptic. It's difficult to know what to do next. I know all Souls games have that type unknown factor to the story, but this is a little much. Some boss arenas will respawn new bosses fyi but you get no notification of that and only realize it if you happen to be running back in that area.

  4. They've quietly been doing pretty well for a couple months now. Obviously title is out of the question, but I think they will take that 3rd spot. Emery seems to be doing alright with the team considering imo their squad is the worst among the other contenders for 3rd and 4th.

I am honestly not that arsed about going back. Our last 4 or 5 years in the league was torture and genuinely not fun. I have seen fans of other teams that have gone up wishing they were back down

Its just hype and not a lot more

I'd rather be a championship title/playoff contender vs a relegation candidate in the premier league.

Like you said, it was bad for a while. Basically the moment we hired McLeish, it was shit until we were officially relegated.

  6. Saturday's stream keep freezing constantly. I was using my gaming pc, and I get a gig of internet so neither of those should be an issue.

Stream literally would just stop playing and I'd have to refresh the page to get it to pay again.

  7. Definitely carrying muscle memory. I regularly find myself pressing O to dodge instead of deflect. I've gotten better at it, but in boss fights when I see a big attack coming, I naturally just dodge.

I hoping to beat the game this weekend, but man some of these levels are hard. I am at a fog area, and it's just freaking me out.

I smashed that drunk juzuro or whatever his name is, I was struggling for ages so I took out the pack one at a time using stealth and when there was only one or two left I went and got my pal and destroyed him piece of piss, I was shaking by the time I'd done it

Then I met lady butterfly and realised that my joy was going to be short lived, that's as far as I've got so far, which is probably farther than any of the other soulsborne games.

Not spoiling anything, but you can come back to Lady Butterfly which I really recommend doing.

She is more a of a mid game boss. I was struggling heavily and my NPCs were getting dragon cancer, so I stopped and kept exploring other areas. Came back to Lady Butterfly and the fight was a lot more fair.

  9. This is the closest feeling to playing Dark Souls for the first time I have experience. Bloodborne was different, but still felt similar to the Souls games.

Sekiro feels like a new game. I had to learn all new mechanics, and change how I play. I am enjoying it, but my biggest issue with the game is some bosses and mini bosses feel unfair. There are some bosses where you are forced to fight them one way, and if you make one mistake, you very likely will get killed immediately. That isn't fun. I like the bosses where I can use stealth, or use certain blocks/counters to win. There are some bosses where it's literally hit once, block block block, hit once, repeat.

Montenegro fans really are scum. Puts me off of ever wanting to go there.

That whole area is racist. Eastern europe in general harbors secret racism. It's better the more central you get, but honestly the problem is pretty bad. Even in Czech, our population is basically all white so people stick out.

  11. Anyone got a stat that shows our Goal Against with him versus when we didn't have Mings?

Have to think it's quite a sizable difference considering we have only conceded 1 in the last 4 matches.

Think we should prob let Elphick go with his 30k contract being up.

I imagine we will renegotiate with him to get that to 15-20k. Elphick is a good player to have.

You make your own luck in football, that's about the 15th time a flat footed oaf has had a ball bounce off him in the box.

I remember growing up a Czech game was a really tricking affair. Bloody hell, they have been bad for a long time now.

We have a good XI when everyone is fit, but problem is we have a lot of injuries right now.

7-8 of these starters don't start if everyone is fit.

dodgy peno but Czech have been quite poorer than expected. lack of ambition in attack when I think they could get at England

England have been comfortable not out of 1st gear yet

We literally don't have any fit attacking mids. We are playing a right back at right wing out of necessity. A right back is at center back, and Kalas is somehow our best fit center back.

    Subasic has retired.

Kalinic is now their number 1.

Having your #1 keeper be a back up on a championship team...and that #1 is Steer.

    Man Croatia.
