35k wont be too much of a jump for a premier club!
Slippery slope to go down. If your 3rd choice striker is the highest paid player on the team, a lot of the other starters will suddenly be asking for more money. It's like Davis being paid 40k while Kodjia and Tammy are making 20k. Wouldn't make much sense.

Can't believe Origi is going to be the reason Barcelona got knocked out. 2 goals for him

holy shit

I don't live in the UK, so I don't have to deal with the news, but I want Liverpool to win this now. No Salah or Firmino, and yet they fought back to tie it.

I talked with a Sheffield Utd supporter, and he said they can no way afford Hogan. We are paying him what 35k a week? Utd highest wage is 20k apparently.
-
Kodjia is also on 3 goals in the last 4 matches. I think Dean basically has to play him. Kodjia is in too good of form to bench.
Also does he go Hourihane or Whelan. If West Brom do play 5 at the back, Hourihane would be the smarter option.

Euron's army basically being gods is kind of angering me. He took down a dragon so easily. Killing one of the dragons felt like a minor character being killed off. Bad taste in my mouth there, and then they just let them wash up to shore, and magically get back?
Next episode will be the final battle of the series. Hopefully it's good. One good thing is this means we can see literally anything. I really don't know who will win. This isn't the typical good guy wins, so it very well could be Cersie winning, or hell even Jamie being king somehow.
Personally I think Sansa will end up on the throne. Think Jon and Danaerys will die.

Lindelöf might not be value for money yet but he's done pretty well this season IMO
Bailly is also a good center back when he is not hurt, but he is always hurt.

We have the experience. We did this before, and we have leaders in this team. Terry, Jack, Chester, Hourihane, Whelan, Adomah, Kodjia, Elmo, Taylor, Hutton, etc they were all with us last season. They know what it was like to lose that match and they know what it takes to win. All on the line. This is it. We need to win.

I think some premier league teams will look into those 3 though. All are pretty good options and young.

Game shows saturday on here which really confused me for a second

So would we get in trouble if we essentially play all our subs/reserves for this one?
Is there a certain amount of regular first teamers we need to be fielding?

In regards to having to play X amount of players from the last game due to the rules about playing a weakened team. Can we still put players like Jack, McGinn etc on the bench and not play them without breaking the rules? They’re still in the match day squad after all.
Huddersfield played basically their U-12s and got away with it

Grealish is like Messi being captain. He is the best player on the team, so he gets the arm band. But the real captain is Mings and Whelan.

There's a couple of soft ones don't get me wrong but there's contact and justification for a free kick on all of them
Also replays are slowed down, so at match speed, these are worse.

I thought it was a fine episode. I am not reading much into it. It had a lot of action, and ending was pretty great.
Only complaints were:
- Plot armor for main characters was way too strong
- WTF was Bran doing that whole time. I thought he was planning something, but guess not?
- Why was the episode so dark the whole time?! I had to check to see my stream was in HD numerous times.
-
I really don't see a need to rest that many players. Don't risk Grealish or McGinn, but other than that, why change it?
Tammy needs minutes so if fit, start him. We want to keep our match sharpness into playoffs.

Could've killed him

So we are basically stuck 5th unless something drastic happens.
I want to finish the season with our streak in tact to keep confidence high, but resting players is important.
-
Yup a sheffield utd game tomorrow basically means that even with leeds beating us, Leeds can't finish higher than 3rd. Leeds would need to make up a 11 goal differential in 2 matches and that is assuming sheff utd don't increase their tally.
-
He is 20 years old, and is starting for a side that can get promoted to the premier league. He has a lot to still learn, but he looks like he can be a really good player.

He's got to be. Yet he won't be our player of the season.
Probably will be McGinn or Tammy. If Mings or Grealish were fit/available for the whole season, one of them would get it.
-
We apparently paid 12million for him?!
-
I was trying to just include players who were actually playing. We also had Gardner too, but he never played.

Kompany makes like 200k a week. Milner is on £120,000 a week. No one on that list is signing for us.
