In the 'browse' mode open up any individual sub-forum and there are a couple of buttons in the top right, one to create a new topic, and a magnifying glass, which I assume should allow you to search for things just within that forum.
If I click the magnifying glass, the app closes and I get a dialogue box that says "Unfortunately, VillaTalk has stopped responding", I've tried it in a couple of different subforums, it happens every time.
The forum-wide search in the app's main-menu seems to work fine.
