My name is Les and I began my Villa journey in 1966, when a certain event sparked my interest in the beautiful game, and I needed a team to follow. Given the local options, there was only ever going to be one winner. I have always lived on the south side of the city, so I used to get a train to Birmingham, then walk to Villa Park. I was 13 at that time, and I attended every home game, including friendlies, until I was 21. My support has never wavered to this day. I started using villatalk as soon as I became aware of it, as a means to see like minded peoples thoughts on all things Villa, without the hysterical rantings of social media. I hope to be able to contribute in some small way going forward. Link to comment
