Went a lot in the 90s with my Dad (most memorable games being the semi final win against Tranmere, my first time standing in the Holte for the 4-2 against Liverpool, Dean Saunders' worldie against Ipswich, The 1996 final against Leeds). Moved away for university and jobs and have lived abroad for a fair amount of time in Japan and USA, but I've always kept up with AVFC. My support may have waned a bit during the bad times in Prem and Championship, but I've been fully invested since the promotion push in 2019 (I fondly remember watching the semis and final while I was working in Brazil!) and I'm really excited about where we're headed under Unai Emery with the backing of NSWE.
