Popular Post avfc1982am
From Wiki Francisco "Pancho" Villa (/ˈviːə/,[3] also US: /ˈviːjɑː/;[3] Spanish: [ˈbiʎa];[3] born José Doroteo Arango Arámbula, 5 June 1878 – 20 July 1923) was a general in the Mexican Revolution. He was a key figure in the revolutionary movement that forced out President Porfirio Díaz and brought Francisco I. Madero to power in 1911. During the movement supporters of Francisco would often chant, "Up the Villa". It was believed however, that a Pablo Juan Angel one of Villa's trusted Lieutenants and a Colombian entrepreneur dealing in medicinal drugs had heard this phrase 12 months before watching a football team from Aston, Birmingham lift their 6th English League title whilst on business in the UK. At least 1909/10 season by the looks of it. Edited July 1, 2023 by avfc1982am
