villan95 Posted June 25, 2023 Share Posted June 25, 2023 Hello Long time lurker, first time poster. I come from a Villa supporting family and started taking an interest at about 9 or 10. I went to a few matches and that was me hooked. The first era I remember was the last couple of seasons under O'Leary when the club seemed to be in decline. Then things were looking brighter under O'Neill for a while with Lerner's investment and I was a season ticket holder at this point for a few years. Unfortunately we never really kicked on after some promising moments and we all know how things went after that... The season under McLeish would be my last as a season ticket holder (and not just because of the boring football ) Since then I only really get to the odd match here and there but I'm still obsessed and follow/watch as much as possible and obviously check VillaTalk regularly It once again seems like a really exciting time to be a Villa supporter under ambitious ownership and an elite manager, so I thought what better time to join Link to comment
