I moved from Chicago to Birmingham during the peak of the pandemic and decided to start supporting the Villa. It’s a proper club that has felt like a lifeline of entertainment since moving abroad with few friends and no family. From FA youth cup streams, to live games at VP, I have consumed every bit of content I can! This sounds like a sappy teenage love letter, but also a simple realisation of what makes us all happy. We have a unique origin with AVFC and mine has been bolstered by fellow fans who seem seem genuinely welcoming and grateful for the mutual support. I’ve even been gifted a Punjabi Villains hat right off a bloke’s head in the pub . The missus isn’t as interested in Football so I’m looking to meet some locals to go to home (and hopefully a few away) matches with. Feel free to reach out! UTV Link to comment
