I attend games with my dad & 5 year old son, although it has been increasingly difficult to persuade my boy to come as this season has progressed. Our pre match routine normally includes a conversation along the lines of... "Come on Sam, it's time to go to Villa." "But dad, it's dead boring." "I can't argue with that son...get in the car!" My favourite 11 to wear the claret and blue would be: Spink, Mellberg, McGrath, Laursen, Staunton, Daley, Taylor, Cowans, Barry, Platt, Yorke I'd certainly feel more confident about the outcome of Saturday's game if we had a couple of these guys taking to the pitch!
