Adzyvilla Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 Hello everyone! My name is Adam and I live in deepest darkest Norfolk. I am originally from Surrey, so why am I a Villa fan you ask? Well it all started at Primary school and a new kid started when I was 8. Up until that point, I had 'supported' Spurs like my big brother (I know I'm sorry), but this lad and me quickly became best friends and he, like his brummie father was a massive Villa fan. So he converted me and I never looked back. Went to my first villa game with him in 1991 away against Crystal palace, and first visited Villa Park the following year. Never been fortunate (or more recently perhaps unfortunate....) enough to be a season ticket holder, but I try to see them when I can (mostly local away games). You could probablty best describe me as a commited armchair fan these days, but Villa are very close to my heart. Have been a member on other sites for years, but I like to know whats going on and sites like Villatalk are great for that when you live in the middle of a Fen in East Anglia. With the sorry state of the club at the moment, I am hoping for a complete overhaul starting with the owner downwards. But the wider world of football is rotten to the core so I am not holding my breath. VTID Link to comment
