As a lapsed Villa fan its been a long long time since I cheered you on as a lad, but that feeling of fondness has always been there. The glory days of the European cup, when Peter Withe banged in the winner in the final, I cheered as loud as anyone. Then I felt the need to watch it for real, so I went along to watch my local club (Chesterfield) and the rest is history, Villa alas forgotten as my loyalty switched to my local club.
