Haven't got round to listening to the new Kurt Vile record yet but I'm expecting good things. Also just noticed you can stream the new Shouting Matches (another side project from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver) album on NPR so I'll be giving that a listen later.

I'd like to see Chester and Aurier here. Toulouse have some great prospects, Aymen Abdennour would be a good shout, can play LB or CB, although I imagine there may be bigger clubs in for him. Saint-Ettiene's Kurt Zouma would be another one worth a look from Ligue 1. Also Sochaux's Yaya Banana, just because.

Apple - I'm pretty sure 3rd gen iPods were programmed to stop working after 6 months, happened to everyone I knew who had one. Haven't bought any Apple products since.

McDonald's - Haven't eaten one for nearly 10 years, main reason was because their food tastes like shit. Although having not eaten one in ten years I sometimes think maybe the standard of food there must have improved by now, but I have no desire to find out.

Starbucks - I want a coffee not a **** milkshake. And besides the places are usually full of idiots.

Am I the only one secretly enjoying being in a relegation battle?

I was actually thinking about this after the Stoke game. I'm not entirely sure 'enjoying' is the right word, but I don't think I've ever celebrated Villa goals the way I have this season because every single time we put the ball in the back of the net is massively important. Though it should be noted I'd rather never see us in this position again.

Zog or Bent on for Bowery at some point. I don't think Bowery's been dreadful but he's slowing our attacks down.

I'm pretty certain if they do turn up on your doorstep you have the right to refuse them entry for 24 hours, which is more than enough time to hide your TV aerial. I'm not a big watcher of television anyway but back when I was in uni I just rang them up and told them I had a TV but the only thing it was used for was a games console and they never bothered us again. I'm living in France now so it's not something I have to worry about, but with websites like FilmOn.com I can watch all the terrestrial British television I like for free - although I mostly use it to watch re-runs of Premier League and FA Cup games on the FilmOn Football channel.

I'll be backing Ballabriggs as the McCain/Maguire combination is one I can never turn down, not too sure about the rest of the field. Had my biggest bet on Chicago Grey last year and probably won't be doing so again.
