I absolutely agree, and can I just note how much I enjoyed your work on 'Drum & Bass Arena'.

haha thanks! Unfortunately I am not that Andy C, but my name is Andy and my last name does begin with C, DnB is also my main musical taste since about 97!

RDM is a brilliant signing, I think Villa Park will be rammed for the first few games of the season, and if we start well it will continue to be rammed. The whole club and this forum already feels like a new place, like a huge weight has been lifted! I just cant wait for some of the losers in the 1st team to be dropped.

No not 1 bad experience, he's had many instances. He's not the only person I know who finds dealing with the Chinese businessmen difficult but there's not much point in going into detail here.

You'll find out what you want to hear....no doubt.

You are correct, there will be many examples of dodgy Chinese business deals and men, just the same as the UK, USA, Spain, France etc etc. Every country in the world has a cess pool of white collar criminals, that does not make the whole country corrupt though.

For the time being we have to put our faith in Hollis and the fit and proper test.

I warned my nose mates not to believe a word from CY as I have a mate who has done business with the Chinese for many years. He still struggles with them as they will tell you what they believe you want to hear but do exactly what they want which can be the opposite of what you need.

My initial euphoria  that Lerner was gone has now been replaced by "oh fu ck". I hope it's just a little confusion and that once it's sorted this guy really does have our best interest at heart but my words to the noses all those years ago are now screaming loud in my head.

one bad experience and you taint a whole nation. The company I work for has worked with the Chinese for 15 years, they have helped us triple the businesses turnover and they cant do enough for us. I personally have been dealing with our Chinese suppliers for 5 years on a daily basis, their commitment to get the job done day or middle of the night is brilliant.

I have emailed my contacts there asking if they know anything about our new owner.

  4. The fact that the OS has been changed is very embarrassing. I think we have to assume that this guy is backed by the state to be making the claims that he is otherwise he will also be looking very stupid very soon.

Agreed with this. COD generally has you having more gun fights, which is what a lot of people want. Spending five minutes going cross map to the objective, on your own, only to be gunned down by a bunch of guys in an armoured car, can be a bit boring.

I've grown tired of both, but WW1 setting could be decent.

rush is game mode for you then not conquest.

  6. this Is the problem being a footballer or anybody else that is in the public eye, you cant do normal things without some idiot thinking you have an ulterior motive. The quicker he is out of this club the better but having ago about a photo next to a caravan is pretty lame and frankly non of our business, being out on the session is another story as that affects the club in a negative way.

What if the potential buyers are as thick at running a football club as Lerner is and, therefore, they wanted football people in place at board level because they don't want to make the club any worse than it already is?

If there is a buyer or two negotiating, it would worry me that they would want to haggle over a price if the asking price is now as low as £75m. It makes me wonder how much money they have, or are willing, to invest in the club.

With what's gone on before with regards to Lerner's ownership, I really don't trust him to sell us to anybody decent. In fact, it would not surprise me if he is looking for someone to do a worse job than him just to make his tenure look better than it actually was!

any business deal is haggled as low as possible no matter how rich you are. 35 mil is a huge amount of money to save on a deal, if this is true!?

There isn't one really, some people just think that everything that comes out of the club that they like must be "PR" or a lie.

exactly, the club having nothing to gain by lying about a potential sale

  9. season ticket sales are a drop in the ocean compared to the amount of money needed to run this club. Telling a lie to sell a couple thousand more will pay a couple of players wages for a week..... What's the point

Keep randomly getting free packs in the store when I open FUT. Problem is you can't sell any of the players. What's the **** point??

I've also had some free packs, not had anyone decent in them though. Keep quick selling the players for 0 coins. Fitness and contracts are useful though.

  11. football is a crazy business and anybody looking to buy a club will be fully aware that if they pump in a fortune and get it wrong the fans will turn on them. Our hatred of the current situation will have no effect on any potential sale.

    G36c is pretty woeful. emoji39.png

I do like the cz though, massively underrated gun by many.

I'm not overly keen on the DMR's either, i usually under perform with them. Saying that, have you tried the ssr sniper rifle?it's a long distance DMR and hits like a truck.

    each to their own :)

I probably have tried it but it cant have stuck on me. Just been on for last couple of hrs, if I'd of read this earlier I'd of tried it out. Dmr with infa red, they drop like flies at medium range.

Not teaching you to suck eggs or anything, but almost all of the weapons have their uses in bf4.

    What are your favourites?

If it's famas/aek etc then you're going to want to play more infantry focused, tight maps.

If you're going scar-h/ak12 etc, you are playing the long, accurate game.

There is literally a gun for all play styles and i think the balance now between all the guns is absolutely perfect.

cz805 for assault or the g36 on engineer, also use the ace53 sv with infa ref sight. That's all I need.
