Would be good for football and for Villa IMO

Yes, great second stint here and will always be a hero - but happy to back Unai's judgement.
I imagine we're signing at RB then.

Wasn't there yesterday but it looked good on the TV. Enjoying Project B6's work a lot.

He’s a top player, would love him at Villa - and I think we will get him for a deal
Agreed - think he's very good with high potential. Would be very happy if we got him in.

Maybe a silly question, but do the winners of this automatically get Europa or something?
Yes

Yes boys! What a journey. And it's only going to get better from here.

I was thinking McGinn
Can't sacrifice McGinn to that role, he's too influential elsewhere.

Keep TAA quiet in his new role and we can get a result.
We need to put someone like Buendia on him to hassle him and make sure he has no time. And then let Moreno exploit the space he'll leave out wide.

Out for season villa have confirmed
Thats gotta be his time up at villa now surely
Where's he going? Maybe we can get him to Saudi on the cheap but who knows.

Pleased for him. Presumably he'll move there full time either way, still has a year left this summer I think so we should get a fee for him.
He does some things very well, and is limited in others, but always gave everything and seems a nice guy.

Yes it was really excellent on Saturday. Off the back of a couple of losses too.
I disagree with Pat Murphy - there were some great atmospheres with Deano in the Championship, the play off semi against Baggies comes to mind, but that was as good as I can remember it for a Premier League game.

Not looking good for them, or Deano

Emery and his coaching staff are elevating him to a whole new level his feet and quickness off the line sweeping is excellent.
It's true, he has become a better player this year with his sweeping and distribution adding to his already exceptional shotstopping and command of the box.
He is truly elite. Like a few players, needs a better chant.

Was a joy to be there and watch him today. MOTM for sure. Seeing him daggering Kane et al and using the ball so well. Hero.

The negotiations will probably go something like this -
"Hey Mateu, how much do you want for Torres?"
"You can have him for free, Mateu"
"Why, thank you very much, Mateu!"
Championship Manager flashbacks are strong here

I heard this story before but we don’t know the truth Valverde punched him then the story of Baena insulting his unborn baby came out which Baena denied.
How can you insult something which hasn't been born. I would think even newly born babies are fairly difficult to insult.

Where do you get coach from in london and where does it drop you off just so i know for future reference when there is strikes?
It runs from Victoria but I'm getting on and off at Finchley. Comes into Summer Row off Great Charles St.

What do other people do after the game when the trains are not running? I come from Denmark and have my son with me, so we stay around Villa Park after the game – visit the shop etc.
Is it possible to get a taxi, or does it work with Uber (we don't have Uber in Denmark), if we wait maybe 45-60 minutes after the match?
I would think you can get a taxi or uber an hour after the game, yes. But traffic will be very bad before that.
-
Same boat. I'm getting a coach there and back from London, hoping traffic to the actual city won't be too bad and then will just walk from central Birmingham, especially if the roads make taxis a nightmare. Weather looks alright thankfully.

Not linked to any keepers yet . I'll be distraught if we are stuck with olsen next season.
No.2 goalkeeper for next season is pretty dry speculation for this time of year.

Voted him supporters player of the year, or at least I think I have, the Villa site being as awful as always did crash when submitting
Yeah confusing webpage but I think I've done the same.

We have looked a bit flat of late, I think partly a result of not being able to rotate.
I am hopeful the players returning from injury can give us a real shot in the arm.
Cash, Carlos, Kamara, Coutinho and Bailey is a quality quintet to have back for a squad like ours and gives us a lot more options from the start and the bench.

Why would we sign Pau Torres? We know Unai likes to have a left footer at LCB, and replacing Mings would be a truly stupid use of cash.

First time to Villa Park and seeing Villa live in a competitive match in 25 years of fandom. Managed to snipe a ticket in the Holte off the official site. Beats getting up at 2am to watch the match on tv.
I am beyond excited.
Nice work mate! Where are you based usually?

We have these every summer.
I strongly suspect he'll go to PSG and agents have been using our name in the market. But who knows.
Would be a very exciting signing, but more of a bonus than an expectation.
