As a Hearts supporter, I can attest that the majority of the support do not self identify as protestant...Although that's what most weegies think. I remember before the 2012 Scottish Cup Final at Hampden we had to drink in a boozer before hand which was a Rangers boozer and they were wishing us good luck because since it was Hearts v Hbs, they viewed it as Diet Rangers v Diet Celtic...blueghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

They reckon Paco Jemez!! but who knows could be Paul Clement
That's if the plane is one of Randy's!!
Paco Jemez would scare me a bit. I could see him trying the same thing Pepe Mel did last season at WBA. Total all out attacking style with little regard for defending. Could be entertaining, but could also see us get absolutely pummeled.

He wanted the job when Lerner first took over. He approached the advisors but they wanted MON. He's from Dudley and has a soft spot for villa. He's got wet spam playing some good stuff! Funny though before lambert was sacked we all said anyone will do and could do no worse but now we can't even agree amongst ourselves!!! I'd like fatih Tarim or Murat yakin but that's me being biased cod they are Turkish!!apparently Big Sam is a local and may be interested in the villa job?
I'd take Big Sam in a heartbeat. Contract with West Ham runs out in summer as well, so could be had for limited compo. He'd have to bring Sheringham as well though.

great goal and celebration.
But defensively Im less convinced about him with each game - haven't seen any replays - but thought he had a hand in both Chelsea goals today..
Not really. Hutton lost Hazard on the first goal and on the second I think it would be very harsh to blame Okore. He had fallen on his ass and was trying to still get the ball cleared. It was certainly Delph who could've done most in either clearing the ball or at least throwing himself at it a bit more.

Celtic and Rangers supporters are the worst of the worst (support Hearts! )....but you'll be fine on your birthday Islington, as long as your not making an idiot of yourself (and to fair, you would have to try hard to stand out in Glasgow), nobody gives a toss what you're accent is like or where you are from.

i wish somebody would throw him down in that basement along with Dale Stephens to keep him from being selected every week. Most pointless player ever.

I know Josip Drmic was wanting away from Leverkusen,,,bring the boy in on loan.

maybe we could buy a few commas and periods...

What is Lambert's vision?
Seemingly less than 20/20 seeing as he wears glasses.

Wouldn't mind Dempsey on loan.
He wouldn't come back to any club in England, he's on a huge contract with Seattle, and it's probably written into his contract that he can't go out on loan. He's 30 years old roughly, rich, and has proven himself in England. Can't see it happening.
Aside from that loan move he had to Fulham last season...

Mark Uth could be a punt at striker. One of the top scorers in the Dutch league, young, and contract up at season's end.

Can we change the thread title to Sevco Rangers?

May 19, 2012. Scottish Cup Final. Hearts hammered Hibs 5-1. An absolutely magnificent day rubbing it into those sister shaggers from the wrong side of Edinburgh and a great swansong for the legend that was Rudi Skacel. The session before and after was one to remember as well...from what I remember.

This thread seems to be descending into lunacy. Benteke is currently mired in a slump, as is the case with the whole squad.. and now he is shit and we should get rid? Deary me...

He's played quite a few games this season for a team that are 5th in La Liga so I think he's got to be quite good.
Not wanting at all to be negative about the guy but this really is a bit of an exaggeration. He's started two league games for Valencia, in one of which he was substituted off. He's also come on as sub in 6 more games. In addition he has come on as sub in 3 Copa del Rey games. He's scored 1 goal.
It's also a fact - indisputable since he is now with us - that Valencia have let him leave.
He did well with Elche and helped them get promotion to the Primera División and that is the basis of his reputation, not really what he has done with Valencia.
Interestingly enough if you compare his career thus far to that of Isco's they have gone along somewhat similar paths. Both played 52 times for Valencia's B squad and also had a handful of appearances for Valencia's senior squad....Isco went on to have over 60 appearances for Malaga, while Carles did the same for Elche over the past couple of seasons. While I am not saying he will be quite the player Isco is, I think it shows there is massive potential there for him and that just because he was limited at Valencia's senior level, doesn't mean there is no player in there. Here's to hoping.

Surely, this scampi happenin'?

Excited by this. Obviously will give him plenty of time to adapt, but he will hopefully be the Coutinho we should have gotten two seasons back. Would like to see a lineup this weekend of:
Guzan
Hutton Okore Baker Cissokho
Sanchez
Westwood Delph
Gil
Weimann BentekeA bit narrow, but Gil would hopefully have the freedom to move around a bit , as well as Weimann playing off of Benteke. Think also that when Delph makes driving runs, Gil could make for a very good outlet to keep the ball moving forward...I live in hope

Yeah I reckon you'd have to be consuming it fairly regularly to see the side effects but just something to watch out for in soy based products which seem to make up a lot of what is considered healthy alternatives in the current food market.
I hear you though, I have done chicken and brown rice, etc. to death.

Just thought I'd recommend this little product to any protein lovers out there.
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=266386187
As you will know lentils generally are a ball ache to cook (in terms of time) but these things only take 2 minutes have a really excellent fat/protein ratio and literally go with everything.
Nice one, might check them out.
I tried these last week
They're quite expensive for what they are (£2 for a pack and despite the claims it served two, it was pretty small), but they taste pretty good and are extremely low in calories. The entire pack of noodles was less than 30 calories. Plus more or less no carbs or fat.
Not the nicest noodles in the world, but for anyone on a post christmas cut (like me!) they're a good way of beefing up a stir fry or other meal without adding loads of calories/carbs
Without knowing too much about those noodles, it seems soy may be a main ingredient, so I'd be a bit careful as too much soy in your diet can lead to increased estrogen (leading to things like gynecomastia).
