    yes, agreed that the forums don't account for all villa fans but at least its something. lets get it onto the other forums and facebook to see what more people think, if no one likes it then fine, we'll drop it.

    like JPA said the general has said the club would be fully behind it. soi i think we should still try to get it going, there are over 100k fans on facebook, if we get it on there and the OS then why not.

    I think we need to get a poll on here, then someone asks on the other fan sites to set some up on them, then somehow a poll on facebook, add the results together, head to the general, I'm for song sheets, but not words on the big screen.

    thanks julie. not too sure that would make a good anthem, good chant, but probably not anthem. im all for Stand by me or ghostriders whichever one it may be. also agree with you there Julie, all the fansites and facebook group need to be agreed on one.

    General: I really can see this working! We just need to chose an anthem that the majority of fans like! either Ghost Riders or Stand by me, IMO.

    some people dont like this,some dont like that. by the sound of things its going to be quite hard to find a song/anthem everyone will agree on. I really would like this to come off a I'm just wondering whether or not avfc would play one. if we went to them with our research and that I think they probably would

    to the people that think this is an embarrassing idea and do not wish to participate in this project, then can you move onto another thread because we would not like to hear the criticism and negative attitudes. i believe that what we are trying to achieve here is brilliant and that it would improve the atmosphere astonishingly. Plus it would give VT a pretty good press too, 'the forum that founded the AVFC anthem'

    i think it was i that suggested calling it 'Project Anthem' on the chants thread, oh yeah!!

    definitely along the right lines there mate. I think an anthem at the start of every game would be electric. I think we need to get a whole 'project anthem' thing going where everyone tries to put together an anthem then we vote on the best then we concentrate on getting into the stands.

    You gotta love Makouns jumper. I know GH gets a lot of stick but he means busines. Makoun, Fofana, Walker and Bent all could be and have be signed up. Fofana failed the medical which wasn't his fault. We could still bring in Adam. The guy is a work horse in the transfer market. Bent would be one hell of a signing. Man I hate January exams. Wanna spend all my time on here finding out about transfers! what exams you doing mate? I've just done an AS level maths. Maths degree lol haha nice! good luck with it pal.
