  1. I just hope that those brave Braga fans dont :

    1. Catch anything inside that cesspit

    and

    2. Dont get ambushed by those fucktards on the way home.

    One can only hope..... :(

Millwall are taking the piss out of them. How in the stadium they are all mouth, and how they just scurried off after the game, without a word being said.

Im still waiting to be shit on, but it never, ever happens. Gob shites, the lot of them 8)

  2. Our squad simply isn't good enough and im sorry the buck has to stop with the board as they did not back the manager

    We.Do.Not.Have.The.Money

They cannot back the manager if there is no money.

You can try and make it like there is a bad guy, but quite simply there is no bad guy.

    Just not enough money.

And the person whom has been in charge to ensure we have no money is?

Theres always a bad guy, or in Randy, an inept one.

  3. Jesus, give the guy a break. One bad game in the same game as several other poor performances is no crime. Some always look for a scapegoat even when things are going well.

    Precisely.

Its the attitude that had me in two minds whether to go tomorrow, since im always next to some moaning fanny attending his first match in 12 months.

I cant be bothered even arguing with them any more, since they trust the internet more than people whom actually attend the games.

  4. I don't hate him. I just think he's not a very good football player anymore and don't understand why he still starts regularly and is still a player at our club.

I guess its more to do with his defensive ability and the fact to being a fat tub of lard, than his brilliant forward play :winkold:

  5. While Bent wasnt fit last game, we really need him to find his form asap. Granted we havent given him many chances but we sure as hell need his goals. Ironically most people thought that the Zog and he would be the stars of our season yet both have been mostly anonymous.

I wonder what both of them would be like up top together?

    Probably shit

  6. Whether you are motivated or not, doesn't give you the right to get drunk as a skunk at a get together and abuse other members of staff. That would get most people sacked from their jobs.

You missed out the bit where he was picking on one our younger players. So we can add bullying to the sorry saga.

We all make mistakes and act stupidly at times, so im happy to let bygones be bygones.

  7. I think Ireland's been given a really hard time. .

    :lol::lol:

Sorry mate, but Ireland has not been fair on himself either. How many games did he get at Newcastle?

Will agree that Houllier was the wrong style of manager for such a delicate and complex individual such as Steven Ireland, but i do remember the frenchman did give him games, which he simply failed to impress.

Its like the old adage, "don't tell me, show me"

  8. Take his goal away and he was poor at the weekend.and he does tire, ask John Terry

But i also think its because the balance in Midfield has been wrong now, for a few seasons, which possibly leaves Petrov open the stick he gets (unfairly). In a more balanced midfield he will probably be able to conserve his energy levels throughout a game a little better. It was Martin O'Neil who made him a sitting midfield player, and if he had the energy to play there, then why did he not play there before?

Our midfield options have been that poor since, that he has been stuck there, which points to the good job he has done in that position.

Its no coincidence that Mcleish is getting him a little more forward now, and the added abilities of a (hopefully) hungry Jenas, will balance things out.

  9. Was good against Blackburn but poor otherwise. Needs to be dropped at the moment.

Are we asking to much from the youngsters?

Its common for young players to go through phases, where in on game they are brilliant, but in the next, they are poor. Maybe with the added exposure they will be getting now, we as fans, are guilty of expecting to much from them, hence adding pressure on such young shoulders?

  10. I agree with most on here.

Picking up the points is OK at the moment, but these draws need to be turned into a couple of wins. 6 points in 4 games is steady. After 8 games there is a hell of a lot of diffence between 12 points (with mostly draws) 16 points (as with 3 wins and 1 draw).

One will put us in the bottom 6, the worries start and a relegation fight is on the cards. One puts us in the top 6, on cloud 9 and dreaming of what can be - thus the confidence has a huge factor.

Now onto this, Heskey has been OK - nowt more, nowt less - he has contributed to keeping us tight, its no coincidence that as soon as he went off, we conceded. But it's time to think about winning games, not, not losing them. On paper, Fulham and Everton away are tough, and although anyone including Burton Albion should beat Blackburn, Wolves for us (local derby) is also tough.

But now its time to give Bent some service, and for that, you need two of Albrighton, Bannan, Jenas and Ireland in the team. Giving that Jenas is injured and you would think when fit, will replace a woefully out of form Delph, then at the moment you've gotta say Ireland or Bannan must start.

Personally, I'd like to see Ireland given a start against Newcastle and Bolton - maybe withdrawing him if we are comfortable for Bannan in both second half.

We have to see what he can do. As someone said - he is the key to our demise over the last year - and if he isnt going to do it, he needs shipping out and replacing. The only way to see that is to give him a go - if he is crap - put Bannan on - simple, and say "thanks, but no thanks"

    Spot on post 8)

  11. Its such a shame because of what he did at the Villa, he should be seen in the same light as the likes of Dalglish at the Pity City or Charlton at Man U - but I seriously dislike Mortimer. He comes across as the most bitter, self opinionated, arrogant tonsil ever.

No matter what goes on at Man U , whether they ask him about dud signings like Bartez, selling stars like Ronaldo or whatever, Bobby Charlton always praises the club and the manager.

Unfortunately, Mortimer is the opposite, and always has been.

I really dislike the bloke, which, as I said, is such a shame.

You have obviously never met or spoken to him then?

If you had, you would not hold that opinion, because he is the complete opposite to which you portray him 8)

  12. They claim to have proof that a current Prem star, recently subject to a transfer, actually failed a coke test at his old club, the club then failed to mention this to his new club during transfer discussions

Oh great. Yet more negative publicity for the club. We're turning into a circus.

    Please say this isnt true.

Dont worry to much over this. It was Darren Bent yesterday, and will no doubt be Jenas by the end of the day.

Mcliesh knows Hutton, so im sure he would know about that :winkold:

  13. Poor going forward this mediocre defender. No support from his side in the attack because he is so concerned defensively. But still doing silly mistakes.

Hes poor going forward because hes been told to sit and stay where he is. Thats the way we set ourselves up away from home. Soak it up and then try and hit them on the break....

Of course, it does not always work that way, but thats what Mcleish likes his teams to be like, away. Compact.

  14. Everyone was shit today. Even Bent, who we all love, looked awful.

So why are we judging HUtton after one game?

Based on this one game everyone should be dropped!

Be careful, its apparently bizarre to mention that little fact about our performance :winkold:

  15. Tell me - what is he doing wrong, please? F

Hes playing shite, and was largely invisable on saturday. I think fans have a right to say it as they see it, if im honest.

Hes not a flop though. Weve only played four games, he never had a proper pre season with us, and i guess he will tale a little more time to settle in. With that, i do think some should show a little patiance, and remember that most of the time, Footballers are not cartoon figures and behave deifferntly when not on the xbox and playstation ect

  16. Besides his superb strike, he was woeful. But then again, most of the side was.

You could see what that goal meant to him though, and it may have done him the world of good.

Woeful is a bizarre word to use to describe a side that battled its way to a 2-2 draw at Goodison.

Not really, since thats what they were, especailly first half. Lipstick on pig and all that :winkold:

Battled their way back in it during the second half, but Everton fans will be cursing their luck, since they had the better chances and played with more purpose.

Only people who did well was Dunne, Gabby and Given. But yes, facts can be a little bizzarre
