I don't think this Man U side have got the mentality to come back from 3-1.
No but we have the mentality to bottle it

Leeds aside, good results for us. Really need to start picking up points soon though

I take it those the coaches he usually takes with him? If so good. My main concern was he wouldn’t have his coaches with him.
-
Probably forced out as I think he refused to take a paycut originally too

Just looking at JPB and TI threads, it’s clear we have some talented youngers and obviously it’s an area the club have invested heavily in.
Without following Emery’s career as intently as some, what’s he’s track record of playing young players?
I notice from some of spurious transfer links to some Villareal players (especially the wingers) that some of them are very young.
Saka made his debut under him, Smith Rowe too I think at Arsenal.

I'm hoping he will be fine for Sunday, I also have little confidence in Olsen.

He even told Ramsey where to press.
I haven't seem Ramsey press all season so it's already an upgrade to me

Milner will be playing his 600th PL game this weekend. Probably getting on now but great pro and consistent too. Our midfield has probably been in shambles since.

They’ve not just been running laps for the last year.
I have my doubts

That bit in the training video where he speaks to Jacob about his positioning

I find it hard to believe Purslow wouldn’t be in front of the media as soon as it was announced if it were him that had got Emery in. Looks very much like Nassef ran this one. Emery probably has direct contact with Nassef too but I’m probably reading too much into it.

I think it's a good appointment

I'm guessing we'll find out the whole staffing team tomorrow?
Yep sounds like it's all finalised but we will find out tomorrow either way

If some players don't want to learn then they'll be out of the door in January I'm sure.
Oh for sure, I just meant I personally expect it would be bumpy until that window opens and he may find it hard to get rid of some until the summer hence the long season comment.
I'm all for Emery and he should be free to make whatever decision he wants, I just think naturally under a management change there are winners and losers and some of them may just be the more experienced players but it is what it is.

So on Tuesday I expect to see Sky outside the training ground waiting for Emery and the main twitter account with all day coverage of Emery's first day and many interviews
-
We kept him for too long really, should’ve got rid much earlier but I guess they (Purslow mainly) were desperate to make it work due to the connection.
