  1. I hate this club with a passion. I hate it, its manager and everything to do with it, perhaps more so than virtually any other club in the league. There is nothing more I would like than a win for us against these .

(for my fans out there) unfortunately I can only see a defeat

Out of the contenders for top 4 Spuds are certainly my favorite. I've never liked Liverpool for various reasons and Man City are just trying to buy success.

Why? From what I can remember you said the same about Arsenal and we almost won. We rarely ever lose. We draw a lot I'll give you that but I doubt we'll lose. Why the unwarranted pessimism?

  2. Gabby deserve's special mention for mocking Fat Frank's goal celebration after the first goal. I did chuckle at that!

    :D

I thought he was doing that but wasn't 100% sure at the time. Good banter.

I hope that weren't the reason! He does that celebration mainly because of his mother who died.

Although alot of others do it, so it's a fine celebration and take the mick out, as long as it's not because the reason you've stated which I'm sure it isn't. Messi etc...does it too.

    Gabby's mother isn't dead.
  3. Dunne isnt far behind him though, he's really excellent. As is Collins. And Cuellar. Davies isnt bad either. :D
I dunno about Cuellar. He's good but he seems to give the ball away in dangerous positions a lot. Still, this doesn't take away from the fact that he's saved us from conceding a lot of goals.
  4. I don't think there's any reason why we can't win this. We attacked well in the first half yesterday and defended well in the second. Now that Gabby has netted two goals in one game after that long dry spell hopefully he can go on to score more. I'm predicting either a 1 or 2-0 win.

If we'd lost or had a no score draw yesterday I think things would be very different.

  5. I have one question - the woman sat in row T, block P6, seat 131, who came on her own, she was stunning. I didn't have the balls to even talk to her

You guys were making quite a racket over there. There was me sitting in P2 wishing I was over there with you.

We had to put up with a bunch of Fulham fans sitting three rows behind us shouting "rider boy". Don't know what that was all about. It's ok, they shut up once we scored.

I was hoping she was a poster on here.....

Didn't think we were as loud as we usually are and there were a few spare seats dotted around.

Damn. Knew we should've waited to get tickets in the away bit.

You lot were very good though. From what I could hear you were louder than the entire Fulham end!

  7. Very good game. Good to see Gabby score again. Kind of weird actually because I predicted he would get a hat-trick today and he almost did! I knew I should of placed a bet on us winning and Gabby scoring.

Some Fulham fans in front of us got up at half time and left. Very odd. Also it's a shame there weren't very many Villa fans in the neutral section.

  8. I hope the players don't go out there tonight with a pessimistic attitude. I know we are the underdogs in this tie and Arsenal are indeed a very strong side but this is football - anything can happen. Of course, this doesn't mean I think things should be left to fate but I'm confident in the players and MON.

  9. Looking forward to this game as I think this is the real litmus test of whether we can compete for 4th this season or not. Can't help but think both teams would take a draw. Hopefully I can get a good stream
You think? From what I've seen most Arsenal fans think they're gonna win 3-0 again. Of course, this is way too optimistic on their part.
  10. I don't know what to think about this game. A part of me thinks we're destined to lose, going by the last game against Arsenal and our recent poor league run, but on the other hand I think we may be in for a chance. We're at home and still on a high from last Wednesday night. I think it'll either be a draw or a close Villa win.

Also, Friedel will be in goal so I don't think we'll let in as many as we did in the cups, if any.
