    To be brutally honest, he looked way off the pace. With his current fitness he is still a mile away from being able to cut it for 90 minutes, even 45 minutes in the Championship.

    But as has been mentioned above another month or two to shed a bit more weight and you never know!

    I would love to see him back next season personally.

    Height at centre back is still a worry. 

    Cissokho is one of the worst left backs we've had at Villa... (One of, I know we have had plenty). I hope he is nowhere near our team next year.

    Even though we wont be going down it is sad that for the second season in a row we are even discussing it... Even in the Ellis era things didnt seem so bleak, at least we half expected it then...

    In all fairness to N'Zogbia he has hardly been given a chance the last month or two, restricted to cameo appearances or playing the odd game here or there before being benched for a game or two.

    If you look back to the start of the season some of the posts on this thread were exactly the same as on Irelands thread, however after a decent run in the team people are now calling for us to build our team around him next season after MOTM performances (granted he hasnt had much competition from his teammates).

    Give him a decent run in the team and im sure he will come good, cant be much worse than Bannan, Warnock or Heskey down the left surely!!

    Foster has concentration of a goldfish and too me would rather re-sign Sorensen

    Totally agree!! One of their last games of the season they conceded two goals from corners, both times he was talking and messing about with other players.. Im really not fussed on him.

    Had my phone call today anyway. Given is done. No word on announcement though.
