Not El Ahmadi's best game today but he did harass well today at least, Westwood was the best in the middle and I thought Sylla was the least effective. When Delph is back I'd personally drop Sylla although there is not much to choose between them so I'd understand if someone would rather it the other way around

Big praise to Lawro who managed to get a perfect prediction, how often does that football genius do that?

Another angle.
Who's the guy in the white shirt behind the goal that doesn't even flinch?!
he was probably on the match thread on his phone complaining about how shit we are
It looks like the ball is magnetised to that block he is holding in his hands, think it's some kind of match winning device he's invented that has caused the ball to bend wildly towards it. Hope he's at the next match

Bayern Munich have gone a record 37 games unbeaten, they must have a ridiculously cramped fixture list if they've played 37 times competitively since losing to Arsenal, doesn't feel that long ago
-
That 0-0 we had against West Ham looks like a good result looking at how they are playing today, we really could/should have beaten them though
-
Was Bacuna swapping wings from time to time with Tonev in the 442 late in the game as I can remember seeing both of them on each side or is it my mind playing tricks?
-
Tonev can play on the right too I feel
-
He can pass the ball well, has pace and makes nice runs. His negatives aren't the kind of things that can't be ironed out so I think he'll become a good player and at the minute I prefer him in the team above Weimann
-
Aside from the comedy goal attempt, Tonev got better and better.
That was the worst thing about him today, apart from that goal attempt he was always offering himself in good positions and was very involved in the build up to the second goal. Lets not forget that Cardiff have had a few results this season and last weekends game will have had them in high spirits whilst we may have been a bit low ourselves so this is a great and important result
-
Bacuna has to be given MOTM, game changing run and following free-kick. Hopefully this is a change in our attacking fortunes whilst hopefully nothing will change with our defence, none of our CB's made any errors over these last few games since Clark has come back
-
Only just noticed that Hull seem to be on a slide down the table
-
The defence has been absolutely fantastic, they give us a confidence that we haven't had for a long time
-
That goal was worth an extra place in the table
-
Much better in build up

Kozakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

BACUNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

its true, goals aside ( i know ) benteke has not been that good this season. and he's missed two penalties. No big move for him at this rate.
Instead of a step up to Arsenal in the summer he'll be making the step up to West Brom
-
Those defensive coaches we got in the summer have done a decent job at least
-
It's gone from 'what match will we get our next clean sheet?' to 'what match will we next get a goal?'

I don't think Tonev has been worse than anyone else in front of our backline, at least he might produce something. Does this nearly 7 hours of football without a goal include the Carling Cup game vs Spurs or just the league?
-
Good chance that tonev is one of the most useless players in the prem
There's 2 or 3 worse players in Villa's first team today
-
I think Sylla and El Ahmadi have been the poorest, Sylla has had no impact (whatsoever) on the middle and everything El Ahmadi seems to be involved in is a miss pass, giving away a edge of area free-kick or being too weak to stop a player waltz past him
-
Yeah that was poor from Tonev, having said that he has been one of our better players despite doing nothing of note
-
Sylla has been invisible, the poorest out of our midfield trio so far

Kozak is thanking the mystery man with the device obviously, giving him a little point out
