Davis is a must. Our style hasn't really changed but Davis is far more effective with our long ball style compared to Hogan. Everyone and their dog can see he isn't a target man.
Totally agree with this. Davis gives us an out ball when we're under pressure without the ball coming straight back at us as at Reading etc.

As I said the "textbook" is clearly wrong then and the rule needs changing

Nah, I would have been frustrated but it was as textbook a yellow as you'll see.
Then the textbook is wrong. It's just the sort of thing that is wrong with football it's called cheating!!

It was absolutely 100% a red card. Ref was spot on. It was malicious and dangerous. Getting the ball didn't enter his thinking, just the player.
Rescinding the red just puts out the wrong message, ie it's OK to tackle from behind with no hope of getting the ball just to stop an attack
progressing. If that was a Boro player the crowd would have screamed for a red card

Not excited by the rest of it Norwich could not be arsed which was beyond evident.
Can't really enjoy it as I think SB will live off it for a while which grates on me.
Jesus man, can't you be happy. SB is staying and so he should, you can't carry on changing managers it just won't work. You have just seen

Outplayed by a poor League Two outfit who were beaten convincingly by Accrington at the weekend.
We're a very average side and will struggle with injuries to key players this season.
Onomah and O'Hare the positives.
Hourihane, Bree, Samba, Green, Adomah, Bjarnasson - shite.
Oh, and it was raining on the Colchester players too.
Dear dear calm down this was nothing to do with the Championship this was a cup game against a fired up lower league side which we
won without tiring out most of Saturday's team. Calm down,it's worked out fine. If we lose on Saturday that's the time to moan!!!

Newcastle were a quality team with a quality manager though. We are neither and comparisons to them are just pointless. People can live in the clouds if they choose but we are not going to be top 2 this season, Id bet anyone, any amount on that, and I'm almost willing to bet we won't be top 6 either.
We have a poor, aging squad with just one natural goal scorer, who is currently injured and may or may not come back the same player. We have not done anything like enough to get ourselves in contention and that is such a disappointment given the disaster of last season.
Talk of the top 2 is quite literally, laughable, in my honest opinion.
What a happy chap you are and by the way what a load of b------s!

IF we did manage the impossible, where would it rank in our achievements?
I know what you're saying but it would only be a miracle because of the position we put ourselves in. Therefore it wouldn't rate
alongside our past glories

I'll be happy to finish top half. To think we even have a chance of the play offs is wishful thinking of the highest order. We would have to win every single game to have a chance and we are not going to do that in a million years. I reckon we can try for 10th place but any higher will have to wait til next season.
Brighton and Fulham I expect to lose and I think we will draw with Reading, Blues and Norwich.
Still, over 60 points is doable and that would be a great achievement considering we didnt win for 2 months.
Talk of winning every game is laughable and will not be happening but at least we are seeing an improvement.
Cant see us losing to an already promoted Brighton, think we'll beat Reading,SHA & Norwich so it might be down to winning at Fulham- not impossible
Who knows it wouldn't be such a miracle!

Aaron Tshibola is a dreadful player. He has no future at Villa or any other club.
Can't agree with that, our best player in a couple of early games.Just needs to adapt his game
to this club,i think he's still a good prospect. We'll see but it's up to him really
-
With all the teams up to 6th not in good form and most of them having to play each other as well
as playing the top five, we must have a chance. All of our games are winnable and should we win 7 and draw
the other i think it would be enough. Long shot though but remember Leicester & Barcelona nothing in football
is impossible UTV
