Hopefully will have finished Oblivion by then. Will probably wait for a GOTY edition or heavily patched version before playing as I know the early Oblivion versions were riddled with bugs and the GOTY Oblivion is brilliant.

My question would really be do the players want him? I'm not saying that this would happen but if there is a hint of unrest at VP, which could be the case judging by GH's recent comments and the players attitudes on the pitch, do any fans think that players would purposefully not play at 100% to try to get poorer results to manage Houllier out of the club.

Again, I'm not saying it would happen but given recent performances and fan unrest is it feasible for the players to do this? Personally I would hope not as it would show a complete lack of respect for the club that pays the players wages but you never know.

All I do know is that anything but a win on Saturday and the % of No's on here will increase dramatically. Houllier is on borrowed time.

Hi General, I was one of those clearly outraged by Houllier's actions and comments, and am still disappointed that ignoring the Villa fans is meant to be seen as humourous. However, for the good of the club I feel that it is important to get behind the players regardless of who is in charge. I appreciate your attempts at fire fighting on here but I would say that it indicates the severity of GH's comments and how it has hurt a number of fans that this thread has increased drastically in size since Monday night. I will still cheer on the lads come Saturday as every fan should, however deep down I think that our current manager has burnt a lot of bridges that will take much more than a club statement to repair. I do want Houllier to succeed though as he is a likeable character. Let's hope he can turn things around.

Biggest disappointment was Pienaar. Bought from Everton for £15m last summer. Had good first couple months. Been shit ever since. On fairly high wages so just cut my losses and got rid.

What really annoys me about all FM's though is the way that computer controlled clubs can get Pienaar for £5.75m but you have to shell out £15m to sign him. Same with most players, the computer always gets players at face value.

Our defence definitely needs changing as we keep making stupid mistakes. Hogg was good tonight, broke up play and apart from 1 misplaced pass distributed the ball well. Bannan was ok, he did a few things but I don't think he was outstanding, particularly in the 1st half where he was non-existent. I would bring in Ireland and Cuellar for the Liverpool game. We also need a younger keeper. Brad is great but I have no confidence when he plays anymore.

Are you joking? The problem is not the personnel it's the fact that our team changes every game in at least 3 positions so we have zero consistency. Whether it's due to injury or because GH keeps tinkering too much I don't know.

I seem to be having problems with the Campaign mode. I get to the bit by the Sugar fields and the tank pops out so I wait for Carlos to blow it up and then I get a mission failure message. I can't run passed the tank because I die. Anyone got any ideas as all the youtube vids tell you to wait around for the tank to be destroyed but I do that and always get told my actions caused my teammates to be killed blah blah blah.

Only gripe I have with this is that you can only hear gunfire from an opponent when it is hitting you. If there is someone stood 1 inch from you getting hit by an enemy you can't hear them getting shot. MW2 was better in this respect. However I do like the fact that domination ranks Flag captures over kills to stop campers. Cooey!!!

The only thing that will annoy me from this is that all of the media today and tomorrow will harp on about how United we excellent in coming back from two goals down and they will completely ignore the fact that our youth team made them look cack.

If none of the papers mention how outstanding we were I will be well miffed.

I started playing 4-2-3-1 Assymetric but my team was all over the place so have moved back to trusty 4-4-2. Signed Derdyiok, Park, Rodwell, Assulin, Jenas (Transfer Listed by Spurs for £0), Roberto Carlos & Pires. Currently sitting 12th after a nightmare start. Man City are bottom in my league with 1 win from 16. Just smashed them 3-0.

Team blending helps, have you tried it?

Think so. Is it on the Match Prep bit? Have Rodwell as DM and Park but both seem to be pretty poor.

Hopefully they'll start to gel soon. Bannan and Delph have excellent stats so hopefully the youth will come through.

Personally I will not be blaming you and RL for the lack of squad depth as you backed our previous manager fantastically and it was this person who wasted at least half of the money made available to him. However, my question really is any chance you could use your military experience and tell our players to concentrate to the very end? Oh, and if you could get some of them to grow a pair that would also be nice. We have once again bottled it after so much promise.

To be honest before the game I would have taken a draw but after that it was just shit. I knew they'd equalise when Young fluffed his chance to get a 2nd and then Kamara said Fulham had no way back in the game. But to draw the way we did his awful. We have to win at home in midweek against Blackpool or we can count ourselves amongst those trying to avoid relegation this season.

Pretty sure it's £18m for mid-table ambition or £23m for "Continental Qualification". Although the wage budget is only 25k above what is currently being spent on wages so will need to trim that first or adjust the budget.

Managed to install the full game last night and only just got to the budget stuff.

After seeing the team I'm not confident about today's game. The best we can expect is a draw as I can't see us scoring.
