ok here is a question....do you think MON restricted our better players to much? it seems they are playing with a new freedom about them..a better creative force so to speak.

Ireland.. simple as. already played a couple of through balls and looking to go forward at any time.

Cannot wait to see gabby latch onto Irelands through passes cos Carew is just far too slow..

He will spend a third of the season walking around looking uninterested, possibly down to him not being match fit due to his injuries.

just a thought... if he dosent leave. does any1 think that he will play absolutely play out of his skin just to either prove he is worth 30mill and stick it to man city or to try and engineer a move anyways??

could be possible considering the type of player that he is.. and that would be a very win win situation for us, getting a great season out of him again and increasing his value even more.. of course then we could be in the situation where we break the top 4 and then thats a whole other story..

If that happened then he'd have one year left on his contract next year. So I doubt his value would be higher than it is now.

finishing 4th is all well and good but we would still have to qualify for the group stages and thats no easy feat.. quailfying and then getting thrashed in the group will do no1 any good in the long run..

The lad had 1 good season, couold have been a Holte End Hero but has clearly stated that he does not want to be here, i loved the guy and thought he might have had more loyalty then this but some1 recently pointed out that he did the same thing when he was at Newcastle when we came calling.

No point in keeping a player who does not want to be here, if we get 20 million and ireland id be delighted!! might be able to pay for a decent striker and give MON some "Squad Rotation Classes" of some1

It does hold water and wouldnt suprise me. As for Doyle ....well he may be better than we've got.
