We're not fickle. We just don't like losing nearly every game we play.
-
I am losing more and more confidence in him. Still in the stay camp, though that may change in the next two weeks.

Hey, you can't win them all. Poor performence, lets hope for better one against Liverpool.
Another thrashing at Anfield.
You can't win the all. We don't seem to win any of them so far in 2009.

He obviously can't spot a defender to save his life, yet here we are two weeks from the end of the window in desperate need of a quality defender to steady the ship. Trust him to find that man do you
You pose an interesting question. I don't want him gone. But at the same time we can't defend. And even if he has been given lots of money to spend would I expect it to actually be spent or be spent on good enough players? Because adding a player past his best an error prone last season like Distin or a third player from a relegated team like Wheater won't be good enough.
But when you only shop at home, there's not much choice.

General,
Whilst it's easy to over react after one game, the loss an pathetic performance today was very disappointing. When you look at the way we played from January onwards last season along with today then I feel some questions need to be asked.
So I'll ask the one in my head at the moment.
When will we actually show some decent form again?
Thanks.

Going to get mine in a bit if they have one in stock

OK then....3G is cheaper and more available it seems than the 3GS....worth the extra cash or not?

General,
Secondly, who says we aren't spending money on players?I'd say the lack of signings so far demonstrate that. Perhaps we will spend money in the near future. I hope so.
And now a question. Do you have any pre-match rituals, lucky charms etc? One of the weird things about football is the pre-game rituals that MUST be done or else if we lose then it'll feel like its that persons fault for not doing something - usually silly like crossing the road at the wrong place.
Oh, and I echo Denis. The young ones are doing fantastic. Albrighton is playing marvelously at the moment.

Fair play. To win against Porto is a decent thing to do, even in a meaningless friendly. Whilst we may not have many senior players, I think these players coming through could save Randy a bit of cash.
-
Guzan is having a very good game, fair ply. He, Albrighton and Lichaj have come out of this tournament with a lot of credit.

How very embarrassing. That's him missing three UEFA Cup games then. Pushing someone in a friendly.
What a complete clearing in the woods.
Now means we're even shorter should we make the final.
And if we don't, and we miss out on the prize money of getting there, he should be fined for it.

I expect a loss.
But it is pre-season and we only have half a team out there. It doesn't matter - as does any of the other results or the Fiorentina game (which I find hillarious seeing as we'll have plenty of other meaningless European games at VP in the EUROPA Cup in the beginning half of next season).
Yet I'll be a sad clearing in the woods and watch it on some crap internet stream.

We should be at the stage in pre-season where our work rate and performance is stepping up and things are starting to gel...
Maybe - but we don't have our squad to gel yet.
-
The lack of fluency, ability to pass - yes not very good.
But means nothing really. Just high tempo training game.

Somone needs to have a word with Isiah Osbourne.
You need to be good to wear bright yellow boots.
Not shite.

James Milner was actually signed in a transfer window.
O'Neill - stay or go, the update
