Not sure why Buendia would feature in that equation at all? Unless there's a strict quota of Spanish speakers we can have at the club at any one time.
He hates Buendia, think that’s the “joke”.

Fantastic player. He’s like a far more aggressive and nasty version of Pau.

Not risking him is essentially giving Brighton 3 points. You might aswell forfeit the game, take the lads to the beach.
You a fan of Olsen, or?

"Overrated" does not mean "not rated". How much did Arsenal offer for him the other year? Obviously, they they dont rate him as highly as people think.
Did he not only have 1 year left on his contract at the time?

Don’t get too low with the lows and high with the highs. He’s a very good player, who isn’t world class but has hit a rough patch of form—nothing more, nothing less.

It doesn't say too much other than Villa bought it up at the last meeting.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that this potential achievement is being underestimated. Imagine at the start of the season being offered a European semi final and finishing 4th! Dream land.

One thing is for sure—we need to improve the squad and hopefully have far better luck with injuries next season if we are to compete in the league again.
This current squad is absolutely knackered at this point.- 1

The fact Spurs lost last night really softened the blow of our game/performance.
This squad is running on fumes and it was bound to catch up on us.

Shit competition anyway.

Hypothetically speaking would you be happy selling Cash for say £20M and Dougie for £75M to add the above talent?
No, because Frimpong wouldn't solve our RB issue. Fofana would be similar to Kamara and now having sold Dougie we'd need to spend more money to replace him with a similarly creative midfielder.

I'll be watching Spuds on the coach on the way back after beating Brighton and celebrating when we get 4th on Sunday. I'm sticking to that

Could be massive. IF Chelsea do us a favour on Thursday and we beat Brighton on Sunday afternoon, we'll be 10 points ahead of Spurs who then have to go to Anfield in the later kick-off to get a win, huge psychological advantage that.
Dukey, I am excited but also scared.

Also, no advantage for Spurs not being in Europe as they play Chelsea on Thursday, Liverpool should be well rested.
And looking to put in a big performance at home after a couple of dodgy performances.

I just want to keep the badge that we have on our kits this year--is that too much to ask?!

This appeared on Reddit last night, apparently found in a Turkish market. Obviously the spponsor is wrong. I hope to god that's just a guess by somebody, and not what the actual kit is going to look like, because it's terrible.
Happy New Year!

There is a case to be made for us going into the Europa League on sporting terms (not financial).
1) The Format has changed to be the same as the Champions League, ie 2 extra games in group stages and a 2 leg knockout for those in 9th to 24th. This essentially removes some of the jeopardy for the top teams and increases the prize pool.
2) No Champions League teams will drop into the Europa League in the new format, plus the 5th best Italian and German sides will also not be in it s they will go into CL. So the 2 teams from the PL who qualify will surely be the top 2 favourites for the competition
3) Having weaker European games for a club at the stage we are (when a European Championship was on in summer) will be a benefit to our Premier League performance and potentially our ability to make a go at the domestic cups.
4) Progression to Semi final or final stage in Europa League would bring good prize money and be close enough to the level we would get from going out in the playoff phase of the Champions League
5) Winning it is the biggest prize we can realistically win under Emery. We can't win the PL or CL and this is the 3rd best title available.
No.

No. This cap doesn't replace the proposed new Premier League PSR rules, it's only in addition to them.
