That guy is the worst. Talent wrapped up in a flimsy paper bag.

He wound me right up in the 1st leg. Just like Saka, go near the prat and he's on the deck.

It's clear he's half decent as well which makes it worse as just no need to behave like that. He will soon get a good crunching and learn his lesson the hard way.

  2. Bit disappointed to see Diego on the bench, I think he's been better than Konsa in recent weeks but obviously trust Emery on the selection.

Glad Zani is starting, play like he did v Arsenal and that mop haired, diving clown they got down that side will be crying in his milk all game.

Proper nervous for this, I'd love to see us win a cup, '96 was the last time, I was only 13 at the time, it's been far far too long.

  3. About 4 episodes in so far, it's fantastic.

Best line so far was the one about getting sidetracked in the wasteland by bullshit. Anyone who has played the game will know how relevant that is 😂

Once I've binged it all, I'll probably load up Fallout 4 and replay it.

  4. Thought about this most the day. I've supported Villa since around 92/93 season.

In that time we've had some good managers and some dross.

Emery is the best I've seen. I loved the Little/Gregory era but he's taken us to another level no manager before him, in my lifetime supporting this club, has.

Tactically he's superb. Not always but 95% of the time and that is enough to 1. Obtain and maintain high finishes in the League and 2. Win something, which this great club is long overdue.

What a man, we are very lucky to have him.

  5. Held my tongue on here last week because I thought the comments of his performance were a joke to be honest, he became the scapegoat and it was totally uncalled for.

Yesterday, he made a few of you eat a bit of humble pie.

I love the bloke, he's not perfect but when he's on it, we don't have a better CB at this club.

  6. Pleased with that on the whole but I'm very concerned about Konsa at the moment.

I've alluded to it over the last couple of weeks, he's dropped off since the England game.

I know he's playing 'out of position' so to speak but he's making poor decisions down that side. I'm hoping he improves but I'd rather see Cash back out there.

  7. I'll play for them, for free. I'd make an instant impact as well for the team they were playing when I lashed an OG in, ran to their fans and flipped them all the v's.

Surely this is the season they finally get what they deserve. Their fans are so desperate that they are being taken as mugs by these yank clowns. It's proper Xia vibes, everything he's saying and doing.

Hopefully they just go bust and do everyone a favour.

  8. Eric Dier

And that's after what I just read.

Apparantly he's in his prime, playing the best football of his career and should be in the England squad.

He's been that amazing this season that he's played a grand total of 10 games at Bayern 😂😂

    What a bell end.

  9. I think there is corruption in every major sport in the world.

You can't have the sort of money swilling about in it and there not be something going on somewhere along the line. FIFA are the world governing body and they are as dodgy as it comes.

As for refs, to be a referee, surely you'd harbour some form of passion for the game. Either you played at a young age, went to watch, supported a certain team. Therefore, you can't have a group of refs or VAR delegates who are 100% fair in every circumstance and scenario.

The only way round this would be to take people who have no interest in the sport and train them. Even then, you'd probably get to the point where you would ref a certain team or a individual player would be a dick so next time you ref that side, you have that in your mind and are more likely not to give them fair decisions. So it's nigh on impossible, unless you solely rely on technology, to have a totally fair system in place being run by humans who have emotions and different personality traits.

  10. Mine would have to be the Premier League around seasons 93/94/95.

I was around 10 or 11 at this time and besides collecting the Merlin Stickers I also did a Subbuteo League and had folders and pads full of squads, stats etc...

I could still name someone the Ipswich Town or Wimbledon squads from back then.

Mental really why all that info stuck.

What weather forecasting sites do people use? I've generally relied on the BBC but lately they seem to never get it right and be overly pessimistic. Are any of them at least vaguely close to getting it right?

None, I've given up on them all.

If one said 'it's just going piss down as usual, probably be windy at some point so I'd not make any plans that involved using your garden' then I'd be inclined to think they know what they are talking about.
