Would you call it magisterial? A 1.21 gigawatts strike? A Robin Hood arrow? That flew past Mount Everest/Bomb Disposal Expert Donnarumma in goal?
Nah, I’ll stick with fantastic.

Fantastic goal by Fullkrug. This is a cracking match.

Once again blessed with Ray Hudson on commentary. Why couldn’t he have been on yesterday’s match when I had to watch with no sound anyway?

I wonder if Ryerson is gettable at right back. I’ve been impressed with him today and in the QF’s. Seems good both defensively and moving forward.

That surname makes him sound like a Final Fantasy Character. That alone makes me want him.
level him up so he goes from scoring goals to goalagas
gaming hat off, he’s highly rated and if I’m correct he captained a game the other week, so has something about him as a person

I was in court (on a professional basis) and a young lad was being prosecuted in the same court for drink driving on a mobility scooter.
He'd got drunk and fancied a McDonald's before bed. He hopped on his mom's mobility scooter and drove along the footpath to McDonald's where he parked next to a Police car. The two officers were having a snack and got their easiest arrest of the night.
His defence was: It's not a car. I was on the path. McDonald's is private land.
He was very wrong.
I can think of a lot of humiliating things to get arrested for, but having to admit you wanted McDonald's so badly that it got you arrested is on another level.

A part of California is further north than a part of Canada.
The northeastern end of Tennessee (part of "The South") is closer to Canada than to the Southwestern end of Tennessee.
The point in the US that is nearest to Africa is in the state of Maine.

South Dakota governor and aspirant to the VP spot on Trump's ticket, Kristi Noem, has written in her memoir (i.e., campaign manifesto) that she once shot dead a 14 month-old puppy because it got excited and ruined a pheasant hunt and killed some neighbor's chickens when she failed to keep it leashed when visiting them. It had "proven itself to be untrainable" and she hated it, so she took it to a gravel pit and shot it, along with a goat that had bumped into her kid. This was meant to demonstrate that she's not afraid to make tough decisions and do difficult things that need to be done---like killing puppies.
Dog lovers, including a whole lot of Republicans, are not seeing this as a plus. She has doubled down and defended the action.
Oh, and Trump is know to hate dogs. Wonder if this anecdote was meant for an audience of one. Apparently, Trump's campaign team is not particularly impressed. Sounds like her shots ricocheted for a couple of decades and ended up in her foot.

Perhaps they weren't available in the UK, but the following are among the best in the US:
All in the Family
Mary Tyler Moore Show
Bob Newhart Show (original from the 70's).
I also can't believe nobody has mentioned Arrested Development. I don't think you need to be an American to appreciate it.
Also, shout out to whoever mentioned Reginald Perrin.

Same thing goes for standup comedy - with a VERY few exceptions, I just have no interest.
I think I like humour, but I'm somehow not really into 'comedy'.
I already feel like I'm becoming a curmudgeon as I get older, and this just reinforces the feeling that I'm likely headed in that direction.

When you buy cases of top wine from some of the most famous and expensive Bordeaux producers they actually send people around after a certain number of years to recork it to ensure the cork hasn't dried enough to let air in or deteriorated from contact with the wine and broken down and tainted it.
(I do not know this from personal experience).

There should be an algorithm for this kind of thing, it's so complicated. Might just start eating soup and bread for each meal.
Thanks man.
You'll find it in here:
Cooking for 1/2 the time and cooling and cooking for 1/2 time again will not yield the same results. The center will not get completely cooked because the heat of the oven will never have had enough time to conduct into the center and get it up to final temperature. The proteins will need to reach a certain temperature to denature, which is the process by which the shape of the huge protein molecules with their multiple folds and twists changes due to the change in energy impacting the characteristics of bonds between atoms and affinity and repulsion between various groups of atoms on the surface.

Some clickbait rag claimed Chelsea want to sell Cucurella and Villa want him. Because, you know, a 4th place side are definitely going to be interested in a $65 flop who's not good enough for the 9th place side.

Pure Project Otter Romp Murky Double IPA. Ordered because I liked the name. Not bad, though not very bitter for a double IPA.

Not so useless information: the term "begging the question" does not mean what most people think it means.
