I used to play football & runaround a lot , covered load of ground & I was crap. Just because he covers loads of ground being "hardworking" does not make him a good player . PiefacE just read what you wrote & yes that's what I mean.

He looked "good" in a 3 because the other 2 carried him through games .

He has to go. I was at Preston today n he did not have a clue. If he stays in charge there is no way we will get promoted.

I am off to this today, first away game since Leicester away which was just before Lambert got sacked & one of the wort Villa performances I had seen until last season. Hoping for a better outcome this time .
-
Yet another inept performance today. He offers nothing to the team. The best thing he did today was get substituted.

I have a mouse in my kitchen where 3 of my lot can go to kill it at night. One of them has brought it in & then couldn't be bothered to finish it off. I got up this morning to this

I am trying to think back to that game. It must have been the first season back in div 1 as it was then. If memory serves me right Keith Leonard scored the winner on one leg. Last game he played for us, knee injury ended his career. Shame! Mind you ever cloud has a silver lining. I think we bought Andy Gray on the back of that.
Andy Gray played in this match & scored , home debut. What a £110,000 well spent that was.

No one made me support Villa. My dad was a Leeds fan and all my friends supported United or Liverpool. Don't ask me why I didn't jump ship.
Same here Ooh-Ah.My dad was Wolves during their glory years of the 50s but he never pressured me to go to the Wolves, he let me make my own mind up . I think he was secretly delighted his only child , a daughter was into football .

I used to love seeing those lights heading down the hill coming into Perry Barr. I loved the old Trinity Road stand & will never ever forgive Ellis for demolishing it & building that monstrosity that is there now. I used to love sitting there with all the old uns when I was a kid, stamping our feet & shouting Villa . I understand the wooden structure had to go but something could have been built meaning the old brick structure could have been saved .

11th October 1975 V Spurs. I nagged & nagged my dad to take me to the Villa & luckily he knew Dicky Dossett who played for us in the 50s. He used to get us tickets in the Trinity , top price of £5. Dad saidhe would take me to that as my first match as there wouldn't be many there , just the 40,000 dad .

You can do it now if your contract expires next month (September).
Sky is a 12 month contract so in month 11 (August) you can give your notice so it expires in month 12.
You have to run a 31 notice, If you do this in month 12 then you will be in month 13 when it expires so do it today in month 11
Unfortunately contract expires in middle of October so I am stuck with the robbing ejuts until middle of next month .

I cannot wait to cancel in middle of September. I really cannot afford £70 a month for the basic tv package & fibre. I have the sky service app so will be waiting for the 50% off or they can do one .

Dr Tony went to Rome to get us a manager & I doubt that the lads who thought the song up have insider info about us signing an Italian player

I think so. RDM threw McCormack and Chester straight in, can't see it being any different with Jedinak. I fully expect him to start against Derby. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a change in our shape.

We need to get some visa issues resolved before the Derby game or he won't be able to play . Is on the OS

That "journalist" is a grade one muppet . Obviously never watched Richards totally inept displays last season . I don't know what Swansea have done to pee him off so much .

They remind me of us last season. Sold their best players & brought inferior quality in. I can see them getting relegated this season . I should have stuck some money on, the same as thinking Leicester would get beat at Hull first game of the season .
