Gonna say it again, what is different from last season? Don't buy all this bollocks from the new owner about making Villa great again (lol Trump). Was never sure RDM was the right appointment, but it's begining to seem like another shit manager that doesn't have a clue tactically.

He said "he felt like it was taken away from him" when not offered a contract. Said Brad Guzan went mental when Stan told him he wasn't getting a contract. Stan also said he felt that the manager was scared that he would have more influence and that was the reason why he wasn't given a contract. Basically he was saying that he would have been given a contract out of sentimental value alone. Sure having someone like him around would have been nice, but it was obvious in pre-season that he had lost some ability to play at a high level and we really can't afford to carry players like that anymore.

He played some decent balls in the first half, but went missing in the second half. That might be just to fatigue and we didn't have anyone to sub him for other than Gardner, but we subbed Rudy off instead.

Anyone listening to him on talksport right now? Talking about how he was told that he wouldn't get a contract for this season and says "it was taken away from him"

Watching players being played out of position and expecting it to work is very frustrating.

I was at the game. It was piss poor. Players out of position and a midfield that went missing. Brentford bossed us after the first goal. We scored and imminently sat back and let them play. You could see all game what was going to happen. Couldn't call on any of the bench players to make a difference as the bench was full of defenders, one who came on and played as a winger after Ross (striker) was playing as an attacking mid/wide player.

We have changed manager/owner/players and nothing has changed from last season. It's the same shit.

only stating the obvious. We have been very poor. We almost let them back into It few times. I'm also pretty sure villa collapsing in games has nothing to so with me.
