Good to see Gabby and Benteke scoring
-
Get in there
Herd off, FFS
-
Look at the way he has left every club, acrimoniously. He is not the manager that we need to take us forward.
-
Not for me, our performances have been dire. If he cant get a half decent performance against a league 1 team then the sooner he goes the better.
Its highly likely we will lose the next 4 league games after tonight, his selections and tactics are crap and I dont like his constant pissing about with the starting XI. Im starting to wonder if the players are getting pissed off too, doesnt seem like a happy camp and I think its down to Lambert.
You could see the reaction of the players after the Norwich game, they weren't exactly looking chuffed with him, the body language suggest a man who is slowly ostracising himself from the players. 3-1 win tonight to get some confidence back and a goal for Gabby FFS.

The Bundesliga is rife with talent and wouldn't break the bank. The games are full of attacking football and the grounds are full and buzzing.
Ilkay Gündogan @ BvB would cost us a good €8-9 million, @ 22 he is already a full German international and can play CM/DM and also attacking option.
Diego from Vfl Wolfsburg, he ain't feeling the love and can't get in the team but a cheeky €7-8 million bid might get him in January, he would be great going forward, when Pizzaro was at Bremen he thrived off Diego's service.
-
Herd is like Delph, always one bad tackle away from a red, not talented enough to be in the team IMO, would rather Clark in DM than him.
-
Team i would like to see tonight
Guzan
Hutton, Vlaar, Clark, Lowton
Westwood, Karim El Ahmadi
CNZ , Ireland, Gabby
Benteke
-
Tonight will be a defining point in the season, lose to Swindon in the Cup and the pressure will be on big time. PDC will realise that the Villa are struggling and Swindon are a good League 1 side. Win well and install some confidence PL.
-
Relegation is the worst thing that could happen to the club, the Championship is not an easy league to bounce back straight away, Lerner must act sooner rather than later, back him or sack him. Silence is not endearing to the fans. If Lerner has run his course with the football hobby he needs to make that clear so another backer can take over and hopefully drive us forwards.

When is Petrov coming back?
-
On current form we will fail to get 30 points, let alone 40. The club is in dissaray, Lambert has caused a rift in the club by ostracising some of the senior players. He needs to change things at Swindon. A suggestion could be,
Guzan,
Lowton, Dunne, Vlaar, Stevens
CNZ, Ireland, Westwood, Bannan
Bent, Benteke

Lambert has the unenviable record of the worst start in 43 years, even McLeish & Houllier didn't cause that much heartache, his man management will be the teams undoing, he is playing a team of strangers, they look so out of sorts, can't string a pass together and don't talk to each other, the Norwich equaliser was a perfect example, Delph not concentrating & Albrighton not doing his job on the post, basics
-
Lambert has ruined any chance of staying up, players hardly wanted to acknowledge him after the game
-
Is the Chairman seriously pleased to see another bad performance without taking action
-
-
Ref has been bad today,
-
Blow the whistle ball bag
-
There is no link through the whole team, Vlaar is lucky to still be on the pitch
-
WTF, nearly Norwich all 3 points
-
I'd want a refund after this game, LAMBERT OUT
-
Delph is a liability always stupid fouls around the box & El Ahmadi giving the ball away every time
-
What is Lambert doing on the coaching side, NOTHING, he has made us worse,
-
Wow, i have never had the misfortune. even last season under McL watched a more inept performance .
-
No i agree changing managers constantly will not be beneficial to the club but then again one reason for chopping managers so much is that since O'Neill we have got every appointment wrong. Lambert still hasn't instilled any confidence in me yet that he is now the right appointment, but i sincerely hope he proves me wrong.
Managers don't have time to nowadays to get things right. He has not bought well in the summer and seems to have upset players more than anything else. Ok i get the new broom sweeps clean, but at least instil confidence in players and get the dressing room on side with a clear direction. At the moment he seems to be causing disruption and mayhem by upsetting the major players who will cause problems in the dressing room. I am hopeful that Lambert does turn it around but being realistic i think it is a job to far for him. If he loses the next 2 games seriously he will have to go.

I would defo play him in front of Bennett, he had a good, confident game, ok he may have made a couple of errors but doesn't every player. Surprised that he hasn't played before and he joined us in January.
