I said it in the match thread and I'll say it again now: for me the telling moment of the match was when Pearson decided to go an front up to the Villa bench. Scott Marshall was arguing back, but Lambert couldn't even look Pearson in the eye - he just curled up and kept scribbling on his pad.

 

I don't particularly care if he's a nice guy or not - Lambert looked pathetic. When Pearson was on the touchline directing traffic and geeing his players up, Lambert was sat on he bench looking like he was about to burst into tears. Put whether or not you like him aside; can anyone say that they actually find him inspiring? Does he display any of the strength or decisiveness you look for in a leader?

I agree with you, this lack of guts, strengths & decisiveness also comes across in his post match interviews. Really if i had to listen to that dull, soul destroying voice (nothing against the Scots, i am one) he would inspire me to fall asleep, zzzzzzzzzzzz

Lambert has to go, he has signed some of the worst players ever for Villa and he has not improved the defence when he had the opportunity to in the transfer window. Clark & Baker are liabilities and cannot be trusted when Vlaar is out, Tonev, Bowery, Bennett, Helenius, Luna, all shocking signings no pride
