Of course, that is based on the assumptions you and other people have been fed through the media. The same media who, in all honesty, haven't got a **** clue about what's gone on behind closed doors in the past week.
Yep. I bet Randy & co have know for a good couple of months that they may be replacing Houllier, and will have developed a list of names some time back. Now they're working through them. The press are just doing what they always do - guessing, and trying to sell papers.
I really wish more people would understand this, particularly as this week has worn on. But people seem to be getting worse in drawing conclusions and taking as fact what is reported by the media. It's extremely frustrating.
In fairness to the media/newspapers though, it has worked a treat with us Villa fans I'm afraid to say.
True, the funniest thing was pages and pages of fans betting on Ancelotti and then thinking something was happening when the odds dropped. It makes me laugh sometimes.
Ive not panicked at all, i will judge the board on the new manager, not on who they might appoint. There still is no rush. I still think all in all, Mark Hughes is still the best suited man all in all. If he does a good enough job to go to United in 3 years then give him the job now.
Sounds like you bet wally with a brolly LOL
