I haven't signed up yet for the Champions league tickets because I'm not sure on the cost - if they end up being three digit prices I might have to genuinely think about picking and choosing.

I really don't think they'll be too much more than the later conference league rounds. Might be completely wrong.

As long as they're not as expensive as Everton at home in the league Cup 2023, we'll all be OK.

So as a season ticket holder, if I don't subscribe to the Champions league ticket scheme do I not get tickets for the Champions league?

Or is it that if I don't subscribe, I still get access to tickets but have to purchase them separately?

The second one. I've just renewed STs but not in the cup scheme.

You’re both right. Think I’ll renew.

Its also far more cost effective to have a season ticket, even if you're selling back games, than it is to attend lots individually.

Hi all, had a letter through to say I need to re locate. I’m in lower north just by the away fans. I didn’t think this would affect me. Anyone know what they are doing with the lower north?

Can only think that they've secretly built a new stadium and they're emailing everyone to relocate.

Didn't even know it was a thing

I remember them mentioning this in commentary. That it was the fastest shot of the season.

Christ are Villa fans ever actually happy? Who gives a shit what happens right now. Just enjoy the moment eh.

I don't think football fans are happy at any point.

Definitely. Monopolies and Mergers Commission **** right up there.

Sainsbury's by me is ALWAYS much cheaper than the adjacent BP and Shell to be fair. The fact those others still exist proves a substantial number of people just don't give a shit what they're paying because Sainsbury's is just as easy to use as either of them regardless of which side of the road you're on.

I genuinely think that masses and masses of people don't understand money. Not sure whether it's a lack of maths understanding or what.

People would be screaming about it when there's a howler that they think VAR would have prevented, but yeah,. I'm another who'd happily see it gone, it frustrates me so much in almost every game, even when they get it right, I don't think it's worth the downsides.

I'd actually like them to just keep it but improve it, but what are the chances?

I think it's really hard to set a threshold for correcting subjective decisions without it overstepping the line and re-refereeing the game. I think on balance, if I had my way I'd keep it for serious missed incidents where the ref has either completely missed something, or asks for a review because he didn't get a proper look.

There's way more moaning and scrutiny with decisions now than there was before VAR. It basically has its own TV show each week.

Remember back to the beginning of the year. We were just hammered by Newcastle. The Sky team interviewing Sir Alex with him saying how impressed he was by the performance. Those wallies nodding cause they assumed he was taking about Newcastle. But nah he could see what Unai was all about. God I am loving this

That was hardly a mystical prediction from Ferguson was it. We'd been about the second best team in the premier league for the last six months of the season before.

Anybody else worried that, assuming we finish fourth, next season won't see us playing Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich as everyone hopes but instead something like Arsenal, Rangers and Bodø/Glimt...

I'd rather win three out of three than lose three out of three, in the champions league too.
