Came to the end of my contract over here with Energia they doubled my tariff straight away rang to get back into contract they said they couldn't move much because of the wholesale cost etc ..... Rang electric Ireland they managed to nearly match my previous contract but day units slightly higher and night units slightly cheaper......tie that into the 200 yo-yos the government are set to give us for energy bills .....I'm actually going to be better off this year than last

RPI is a measure of prices consumers pay. Prices go up, which pushes up RPI, and the response is that they then use that to justify putting their prices up, because everyone put their prices up? Which will further raise RPI and be used to justify the next price hike. This is absolute madness.

My phone bill is going up by 11.7% because they've decided it's appropriate to whack an extra 3.9% on top of RPI, because **** me, they like money? 

And yet these companies will announce record profits in a few months tis some joke ....my dodgy box sub better not move

Recently at the Irish Indoor meet at the national arena ....I went to see the running ...my kid was transfixed with the pole vault ....she couldn't believe people enjoy doing it .....yet enjoyed watching it ......they only got to 4m.90.  But still great shizzle
