  1. I have been watching loads of clips of him and he has a great passing range. Some of his slide rule passes were beating two players and perfectly in the path of Barnes, Vardy, etc.

Could do with improving his long range shots. Thwack in the top corner? Not good enough Youri.

He's just played 36 league games out of 38 for a team that finished eight in one of Europe's top leagues, the season before that he played 34 out of 38 leagues games, he's not some untested youngster or project player, a project player is someone with hardly any experience at top level at all, Williams has plenty despite young age.

With all those appearances at such a young age, his legs will be gone by the time he is, (Closes eyes and picks number at random) 27.

Can we close this thread please before Mbappe and the lads read it and decide to sign him.. Thanks

Mbappe is coming here. Said he'd play for nothing. Heard this from his gran's dog walker.

    he will be.

    £25 for a pint.

    £50 for a pie.

£5000 for a handshake with players after the match.

£25000 to take a trip on the team bus to or from a match, with the first team.

£50000 to take part in first team training sessions for a day.

    What could go wrong! 😜

£100,000 to be bought on to take penalties.

Question - the one position Emery has mentioned several times he wants this summer is a striker. But I’m not sure we’ve been linked with a single striker except something about Vlahovic early on which isn’t going to happen.

Interesting - do we think that our focus is more a second striker in mould of Goncalves or at a stretch Felix. Or is there a name out there that will come as a surprise to us all.

Mbappe please. 3 million and Josh Onomah.

So do you live by that same principle in every aspect of your life. That basically, given enough money, it can buy your affection?

If someone knocked on your door and said 'here is £120mill you have to leave your wife and kids' I guess you'd be off then as well.

I grew up dreaming of playing for Villa. If I was ever in a position that I had the talent to do so, that's all I'd want to do.

Stuff the money, modern day footballers earn more than enough to be set up for life even playing at a lower level than the Prem.

Calling people 'nuts' for not having your same viewpoint is a bit pathetic to be honest.

I would. I would 'leave' them for a day and return the next day.
