Truth or nonsense...like most things probably somewhere in between

The club were more than likely involved in securing him the property, which then results in them getting involved when he **** it up

Damage worth £12k, lets be honest it's probably a £1m+ house so it's hard to comprehend what that damage actually looks like, could be the kitchen or bathroom alone

light fittings being taken off the wall also reads differently from damage, damage would imply smashed off the wall, taken off to me would imply he's re arranged stuff and now has to pay to return it to the original state

Jesus... Not sure about this one tbh.

Are we signing him as well.

Has proven ability when everybody thought he was dead rising back into contention.

My experience of blues away is it being policed to within an inch of its life resulting in a long boring day

Been pretty much like that since 2000 onwards. Before then it was like the Alamo one stand out  evening there was when we played them in the league cup in 1993.

    Being from Chester can confirm.

Last bubble fixture in the country.

I knew a Villa fan from Chester years ago his name was Phil. I think talking probably 30 plus years ago.

We could easily get turned over. But i would say today’s game wouldnt even have pride as a factor.  We acheived 1 of our 2 goals and got to the semi in the other.  It is a meaningless game. We cannot lose any money in terms of prize money. We cannot lose a position. We already beat them at home. Nothing hanging on the result at all. Apart from avoiding injuries.  Rest them all. Play the kids and non stop sing we are champions league for 90 minutes.  Cans of stella and phones allowed on the bench. It has been a monstrous season and nothing can take the edge off that !

It’s kind of got the feeling of the 3-3  draw at Goodison Park in 1989 about it when we came runners up. Graham Taylor’s claret and blue army was sang from the first minute until the last.

Annoyingly good. He just as a unique ability to outwit any opponent put in front of him.

I remember Chris Eubank Snr saying,  years ago, after Lewis had fought Klitschko how Eastern European fighters are the most difficult of opponents. It's so true.

I would imagine he is absolutely stunning at chess

Putting all the nonsense to one side. As a spectacle it certainly excedeed my expectations. Once Fury dropped a gear, Usyk pounced and sensed blood, literally. I think the rematch is 60/40 in favour of it happening. Think you was spot - on in the decision. That ninth was decisive. Without that 2 point margin, we would have probably got a Fury win or a draw.

Have to give Usyk his due. To shift the momentum like he did was astonishing.

Incredible really he looked a beaten man. He’s a lot better than I thought he was.

I remember that 74/75 season. Every player scored a goal except, Coombs, the goalkeeper. Incidentally, he was offered to take the penalty against Sunderland in the final game of the season, but declined.

Must have been 28'000 in the Holte that day against Sunderland, baking hot too.

I just hope Ollie gets the 20th. He deserves that, and the player of the year, especially when you consider the no penalties factor.

    Come on me Babbys!

My tit of an uncle refused to go earlier saying that it would never sell out so we went normal time and find the gates locked🙄☹️

What they need to understand is that this is a forum capable of creating a 407 page thread about a player who was never going to sign for us.

And it probably would have been 600 pages if @blandy hadn't of deleted 200 pages of fish puns and unfounded paedophile accusations. This in a few short weeks.

I found those paedophile accusations very childish and unnecessary 🙄

I don't think Joe was reciprocal with the compliment. He really took the rivalry personal. I don't think he ever forgave Ali for the "Uncle Tom" jibes. Even though Ali kind of regretted, later in life, a lot of those comments.

Every time I think of that first fight, I picture that coat worn by Frank Lucas.😉😉

very daper indeed, purest Mink. I would imagine it was similar to the one Tyson ripped that caused Mitch Green such angst 😆

He was always going to be focused for this. Let's give him some credit. He has always stepped  - up when needed. This is what he loves, centre of attention. I hope he wins and then plays with AJ, after that, he retires "unbeaten." Who was the last Heavyweight to do that?

I remember Holmes getting robbed against Spinks, after his remark about Marciarno's "Jock - strap". Poor old Larry, that  "Jab" was a thing of beauty. His chin wasn't bad either.

I always like the banter that Mohammed Ali sent out about Joe Frazier. But most importantly, he said if there’s anyone you wanted down in a trench with you, it would be Joe Frazier.
