With the amount of work that's going to be going on around the stadium on the hospitality areas this summer, I can't see us demolishing any stand at Villa Park for some time.
If we do, I guess the next natural time to review that is after the Euros.
Do you have any more information about whereabouts in the ground those hospitality areas are likely to be And what the nature of the work taking place will be?

"The club’s new American president of business operations, Chris Heck, has overseen the Betano deal"
Apparently, most of the meeting was spent drinking ouzo, with the Greeks calling Heck a Malaka and Heck calling them cocksuskers.

I should have said that is from Sky Sports.

From Sky Sports:
Bailey open to leaving Aston Villa for 'big six'
Leon Bailey has said he would like to join a 'big six' team in the Premier League, despite signing a new deal at Aston Villa last month.
Bailey told the Let’s Be Honest Podcast that he is focused on finishing the season strongly with Villa, where he is very happy.
Although, he said would be open to moving to another club that could give him a bigger platform to promote Jamaican football.
Asked if he is interested in a move to Chelsea in the near future, Bailey said: "You have big teams in England, they call themselves the big six. The Arsenals and the Chelseas.
"It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League and I am right now.
“Who wouldn’t want to go to a massive team? Especially coming out of Jamaica, do you know how big that is for the country? Especially being who I am as well.
“It would shine more light and that has been my focus whenever overseas. It is to use my platform to be able to shine light on the country and the young talents. It’s difficult for us Jamaicans to even make it to Europe."

I didn't know the screw was on the OUTSIDE of his foot

I can actually speak with some experience on this... obviously not a professional footballer!! but I played footy into college. I broke my metatarsal 4 times- same one- twice in High School, twice in college. I now have a 5 inch screw in my foot as well. NO SHOE rubs your screw lol. If you wear shoes with poor padding your foot will get very sore walking/running all day. The screw decreases mobility and flexibility in your foot- makes your foot stay 'flat' if that makes sense.
This is an image of fixation of a 5th metatarsal (little toe) stress fracture in an athlete, showing where the screw head would sit (the base of the 5th metatarsal which is the bony lump you can feel at the halfway point on the outside of your foot).
The systematic review referenced below states that:
"Removal of internal metalwork was not routinely undertaken. Twenty cases in all had removal due to prominent screw heads."
and then:
"The pooled results need to read with caution—although the overall rate of metal removal was <10 %, the rate of secondary surgery to remove painful screws can be almost 50 % .

Yes, he does look like he needs to be deeply sanitised.

Someone on another forum has given such specific updates on Ramsay that they are either in the know or completely insane, and I am going with the former.
12 days ago they said:
"Out for 2 weeks. Advised to have 4 weeks off at end of season. Screw in toe is rubbing against boot. New boots being made as we speak."
and then today they said:
"He’s had his new boots. He’s running and training. Available for selection against Wolves as it stands."

One thing we don't have yet, which Spurs are working particularly hard on with their season ticket holders is dormancy: people who know they can't go to more than about a half dozen game but don't want to give up their season ticket, people who take kids who have gone to Uni and will keep those seats for three years, even if the seats are empty so that they can come back to the same seat, that sort of thing - people paying for a seat they don't intend to fully use, but don't want to give up.
They have a much better exchange system than we do - it can be done online, you can do it for your named friends list and I don't think Spurs take a fee on it - but they're very keen to watch out for how often a season you don't attend.
Is that something anyone has seen or heard much of at Villa Park?
A better exchange system would be good but I wouldn't want to see people penalised for not attending as long as they put the ticket up for resale.
People can have very good reasons for missing games like serious illness.

"Just like when City ran the Randy Lerner out of town"
I used to love the Randy Lerner.
He was the most electrifying owner in all of sports and entertainment.
I could definitely smell what the Randy Lerner was cooking.

Friend of mine is a spurs ST holder, he’s missed loads of games this yr and can easily sell his ticket every game. He gets 1/19th of the ST price back every game missed. We should do the same, we have the demand if it was easy to do.
That's exactly the same as our re-sale system isn't it?

I will renew because they are like gold dust these days but I don’t understand why people can’t use the resell option. Too often I see empty seats around me even when games are sold out.
I think you’ll find that the empty seat problem is normally related to the lower grounds match day experience. Firstly, they hold back a couple of thousand seats that they hope they will sell to people as part of the lower ground package. Often these don’t sell and then they put them on general sale at the last minute or try and give them away. Then they refuse to put season-ticket holders resale seats on sale until they have sold their own lower ground tickets. So, for example, at the Newcastle game, there were lots of season-ticket holders who wanted to sell their seats and the seats were never put on sale Until the actual day of the game, which was too late. This left empty seats for What should have been a sold-out game.

I think that if people are kicked out of their season tickets to make way for more corporate offerings, they should be given first dibs (before the reallocation window) of getting a seat as close to their original seat as possible. Not being given this option would stop me renewing.

Anymore word on the Villa documentary?
The bleep machine over-heated and exploded due to the number of "cock-suckers" so filming had to be stopped.
Because of FFP, we will have to sell some other form of machinery first, like one of the gym bikes, before we can buy a new one.
Apparently, there is one person watching the bike on Ebay but that is Newcastle and they can't afford to buy it until they've sold Tonali.

Nah, they're going to 'consult' on price rises on the 20th March
"Would you prefer a 20% or a 25% rise in ticket prices?"
"Our consultation demonstrates that fans show an overwhelming support for a 20% rise in ticket prices"
This is pretty much how the questions in the last badge consultation were structured.

Villa Talk is my favourite Villa forum but this "other football" distinction needs some re-thinking in my opinion.
I can understand why discussion of ex-players still playing like Jack Grealish goes into "other football".
But to my mind, there is no way that the news of the passing of a Villa great like Chris Nicholl should be classed as "other football" and it should also get its own thread, not just the next post after one about Carlos Gil.
Players we don't even sign in the end get their own threads on the main forum!

From what i can gather, fans have to be consulted about a badge change.
As far as I can see, Heck has seen this as showing the FAB his badge and when they said the lion should be more rampant, a small change was made just to the lion but still mainly sticking with his own design.
At the next FAB meeting, can someone show Teale's Tache's badge to Heck and say "what about this you cock-sucker?"
