  1. The redevelopment of Villa Park will unfortunately result in the displacement of approximately 900 existing season tickets in the North, Doug Ellis and Trinity Road stands. Those season ticket holders who are impacted will be contacted separately with more details about their specific renewal process, but they will be prioritised ahead of any tickets going on general sale. The Club understands that this will be a difficult process but are committed to working with those fans impacted to ensure they are accommodated as quickly as possible.

I wonder when they will contact those affected and whether those not affected will have to wait until June to find they are not affected?

What’s the name and Instagram of the attractive young woman (physio?) who sits on the bench the last few games, please.

Do you mean nutritionist Elisa Cenal?

  3. I already posted this for the meeting about season tickets that never happened. It is more of a request than a question. But please, if season-ticket holders are to be moved out of their seats to accommodate corporate seating, then please could they be given an early opportunity to move to a seat as close to their original seat as possible Prior to the reallocation window

There's unused space in the Witton? You'd think that might have been reused to allow people sitting in there to have basic facilities.

It was unused until a few years ago when it was converted into this community area.

Before that, I think it was  bar but I've never had access.

Where would they put the lounge facilities that this would require?

Also, what if they kick this lot out along with season ticket holders?

Community project to transform suite Aston Villa Football Club | AVFC

    Quote

A disused suite in the Doug Ellis Stand at Villa Park is being renovated this week thanks to the Supporting Our Own initiative.

The David Targett Suite was previously in use as a community venue, boasting radio and TV studios, an industrial kitchen, a classroom and a gym.

Maybe we will see another article in the New York Times where, during Chris Heck and the Temple of Doom, Heck chances upon yet another old hidden Egyptian tomb which he converts into another burger and beer joint, just like in Raiders of the Lost Heck, where he dodged a giant ball and sandwich-eating swinger to discover the Lost Holte Suite of Atlantis

If that happens it would use the back rows of the lower. It wouldn't add any seats.

What if they say that all the central doug ellis seats are now reserved for this Lower Grounds Mark 2?

And what if the extra seats Heck talks about are just tucked away in corners of the ground and general admission, making existing seats the extra premum seats?

yes, that picture has sent an arrow through my heart and the wayback machine is unable to confirm whether it is a new or old picture.

You'd like to think if they are planning to kick us out of our seats and resell them at double the price they'd have the courtesy to let us know already!

I posted this in the redevelopment thread but it is more applicable here so please forgive the duplicate post:

I've held my season ticket, on the halfway line of the Upper Doug Ellis for 15 years (of mostly s*** football) and Heck's willingness to tell every media outlet going about his plans for lots of extra premium seating while at the same time delaying the announcement of details to those actually affected is putting a real dampener on the end of the season for me and severely souring my attitude towards the Club.

I want to get excited about the prospect of Champions League football next season  but where will I be watching it from?

And for the people in long seating season tickets in the centre of the dough ellis and trinity are they expected to be cleared off elsewhere in a sport of sports gentrification?

Just seen the heck and gabby video on the villa site, heck was asked about tickets and said 5% increase on general tickets, no mention regarding prices for season tickets

I interpreted it as  a 5% increase for general admission season tickets, so this means most people's season tickets will go up 5%.

The unanswered question for some of us is whether our seats will continue to be classed as general admission or whether we will a) be kicked out completely so someone else can buy them each game as part of a corporate package, b) get to keep our seat if we also pay a lot more for bundled-in access to a lounge with food and drink, or c) get to keep our seat if we pay a bit more for a padded seat and tie.

It’s funny that we both read the same articles and have interpreted it completely different.

As far as I can tell, and I’m pretty confident that is what The Times and The Athletic are trying to say, is that this new fixed cap will REPLACE the 85% PSR limits. The key word there in both articles is the word “replace”.

Of course, they might be wrong themselves, but that is what they are telling us.  In my interpretation of course.

    What about this though ?

  12. Only manager to never criticise a referee or their decisions, no matter how bad.

most times needing an interpreter to understand Tom Ross in a press conference without Tom attempting to modify the pace of his speech or phrases used whatsoever
