Totally this - I don’t understand the same formation/XI for everything brigade, best XI/formation against top teams away SHOULD be different to best XI/formation at home to a bottom half team etc etc

First ones on him, but the loss - not a chance.  For free kick, people would have been crying if he didn’t attempt a challenge, not even 100% was a free kick, but was a GK error it ended up in the net.

Overall I didn’t think he was too bad, people make out like it’s all on him we lost - 100% it’s not.

Needs to do something different, same subs all the time.

Was ok, certainly don’t think he was MotM.  A couple of good driving runs, but poor final ball I thought,  was more involved when on the left touchline.  I really want him to be as good as people think, just can’t see it, although again formation/shape not too his strengths

He is not very good, we have been sold down the river.

Just because he is not doing highlight reel stuff, his overall play I thought has been pretty good - movement, tracking, passing all been ok.  

Make no bones about Everton are piss poor - we have been only slightly better, not much different to last week except goal. Hopefully breeds a bit of confidence, but still feel we are set up soooooooo wrong.

Our best 11 (I know that’s down to opinion) doesn’t fit our formation, we have zero identity - I watched yesterday and had no idea how Stevie G wanted them to play.

We seem to have a really awful trait of making our players look bad (a la Ramsay, couts, Digne yesterday) and making distinctly average opposition players look like world beaters - all this comes from the training ground.  We don’t play to anyones strengths (McGinn asked to do stuff he is not good at, it’s no coincidence how he played in championship or for Scotland, full backs hardly getting past half way, bailey, Couts the list goes on). We leave the one DM exposed 9 times out of 10

We need balance, but equally players need to know their responsibilities (don’t know if this is Gerrard not getting it across or players not doing it).

Can we still return and get a refund - bloke is terrible

Always target 1st, try to win every game

Aim for Top 8, Realistic top 10.
