Hi all don't think there is any substance to this story - just the Scottish Sun making up headlines. As good as it would be for Hibs with a hefty sell on clause, it does seem implausible. I met John McGinn at Paul Hanlon's testimonial dinner last Sunday and he was certainly happy to be at Villa, looking forward to testing himself in the PL and was delighted to have retained the admiration and love of all Hibs fans, many of whom now follow Villa regularly. He was equally delighted to be your player of the year and gave absolutely no signals he was going to be anywhere other than Villa. It is no surprise that he is being linked with moves but Villa fans shouldn't worry as it won't be him making the noise.

A rekindled interest in AVFC from the moment John MCGinn was sold from Hibs to the Villa. I am a Hibs fan first and foremost but I used to live in Walsall, working in Wednesbury and stood many a time on the Holte end. Was fortunate enough to be working in the Midlands when Villa won the European Cup. Really enjoyed going to Villa and so delighted to see Villa restore themselves to the Premier League today with SJM as man of the match. Congratulations to all at Villa and especially to SJM. We all knew Villa had got the bargain of the year. Just love how you have all taken to him. Will be attending Villa Park in the coming season.
