Doubt it, their manager has just left.

Well. I'm struggling to work today.

There will be a delay because they'll be putting together a fancy announcement video. My front runners are:
- An 'Announce Mings' parody (like they did with Bolasie)
- Lord of the Mings: Return of the King
- If You Like It Then You Shoulda Put a Mings On It

Ah, Villa Village!
When I was younger, I used to think Villa Village was an actual village with shops, pubs, a school, a little village green where the players would train, a church, an award-winning chippy, all dedicated to Villa.
Imagine my disappointment. Especially when I found out there was no chippy.

No, I’ve moved on. I don’t do that anymore, I’m not proud of it.
I’m in Leeds.

We've just had a fire alarm test at work.

THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!!!!
Finally.
I reckon Suso browses this forum, and he saw us all complaining at the lack of excitement. So he popped on the phone to Club Ruge and said "Bonjourno, 'ow much for le' Wesley?.. .... ..... fifteen milliano smackers? No problemo Bella, we give you 22. Ciaaoooooo. Tell Wesley to pick me up one of your famous swiss Cheeses on ees way to Le Brexit"
There might have been a few slight differences to do with language and pronunciation, but I imagine that's pretty much how it went.
Is Mario our new DoF?!

Mings has liked it on Instagram... just saying.
Still, I think it’s just saying ‘we’ll be playing in the Premier League soon’, as some others have suggested.

It's not moaning, i disagree with the approach.
You have to change up your tactics against the top 6 sides in order to get a result
Who needs Deano when we’ve got Villalad21?
Bet you got Forest Green into the Champions League on Football Manager.

Woke up at 2am, haven’t slept since.
I hate football. And love it. And hate it.

So I’ve gone from utter anger and disbelief, to pride.
Yes, Leeds brought our winning run to an end. But only by a completely unfair goal (which - I think - was offside) and through blatant cheating from a player who has a face that I think everyone outside of Leeds would like to punch.
I genuinely think if Anwar and Jimmy D stay on the pitch, we win that. We were causing problems on the wing all game.
They look a good side, but we more than matched them.
Bring on the playoffs. 12 games unbeaten, Villa fans managing and captaining us, and a genuine connection between fans and players that I can’t remember being as strong as it is now. Well, since I started following the team in the early 00s, anyway.
Mings is a colossus, Axel a rock and our midfield is absolutely stacked.
We’ve always had a proud history, but now - for the first time in over a decade - it feels like we really do have a bright future, too.
Prepared? You bet we are.

As a Villa fan, who lives and works in Leeds, we have to win tomorrow.
Mainly because I have been a complete and utter smug **** for the last 10 games and I fear the consequences should we lose.

I thought Smith got it wrong yesterday.
Why make a double substitution when we are winning the game and want to run the clock down?
This is tactical Nativity on a new level. 1) it doesn't waste any time c) it disrupts the telepathy of the team with two new consciousness's to connect with instead of one.
The subs should have been staggered. If we had picked up an injury it would have been squeeky botty cheek time.
Also why bring on Andre Powederpuff Green. It would have been better to switch Kodjia to the wing and totally bring on Davis earlier. Both need as many minutes as they can get. we would have been able to lump it long to davis by passing Millwall's double decker midfield. he could of flicked it on to the overlapping Kodjia then bingo!
Smith should of come out and said he got it wrong in the postmatch.
I bet you’re the king of Football Manager.

I’ve just been on to their forum for a giggle. They’re really not happy about our current form.

Don't think playoffs will count, not part of the home and away against all the teams format. So max we could win on the bounce will be 12 this season (for league games). I'd take losing with a weakened team though if it meant we were all rested and had a better chance in the playoffs. Doubt Smith will do it though, poss only McGinn to make sure he's not suspended.
On that note how does the yellow card suspension stuff work in the playoffs?I *think* that getting two more yellow cards in the next two league games would result in a three match suspension including the playoffs. If he he doesn’t get to 15 before the end of the Norwich game, then the slate is wiped clean in time for the first leg of the POs.

Boro losing, Bristol City now two down... it’s shaping up to be a good day.

I came on to this thread to see what shenanigans John Terry has been up to...
...but it’s a Steve Bruce debate. Again.
He’s gone and we’re on our longest winning streak in 109 years. Let’s all be friends and enjoy the present.
As for JT, I hear he’s been messaging your sister.

I had an early night last night feeling comforted by the fact that if Brexit wasn’t going to be cancelled all together, at least everything was pointing towards a softer option, which would protect free movement, trade and jobs.
I’ve woken up this morning, checked the results and now I’m terrified that we’re inching towards an inevitable cliff-edge from which the country will struggle to recover.
I’m ashamed to call myself British.
I just can’t work out how a ‘Leave’ campaign, that has been found in breach of electoral law, which has admitted that it ‘embellished’ its arguments, and that pounced on the poor and vulnerable in society’s desire for something better, has the gall to try and flush us all down the toilet.
I’m fuming.

Did anyone see that flick in the first half? It was just sublime. I couldn’t concentrate on the rest of the game.
